For us WoW players, I’m thinking 24 GB minimum with 36 GB giving you plenty of headroom.

There are, in fact, ways to get around that legally — and Apple started doing it on at least some of their hardware assembled in China during the previous Trump administration. It involves the final assembly taking place somewhere else, say Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, or now, I suppose, India. Then it’s evidently legal to etch on the case, and print on the box, “Made in .”

The bottom of my Studio reads, “Designed by Apple in California. Made in Malaysia.”
