How much money should a character have with them?

Thanks to the Warband system, I can put all my gold together to have the most money I ever had and pull it out for when I need it, but now I’m wondering how much a character should have on them.

Probably about three gold and fifty silver.

Depends.

As a Goblin, probably a lot because why would you trust anyone else with it?

As an Orc? also a lot because Orgimmar isn’t exactly known for it’s academics and you’re probably going to get ripped off given a life with very primitive education.

A gentleman never goes out in public with less than 100k.

Uh, depends. You don’t really need much at most times.

I keep 5 million to avoid running into gold cap.

I keep 20k on me, I don’t exactly need that much but I think it will keep a rogue from ganking me without breaking the bank.
