What spec do you use and do you need hit?
Right now Im assassination for the relentless strikes/imp slide and dice, but then I don’t get the +hit from combat.
You target the bad guys and spam saber slash. That’s all you have to do. Oh one boss you need to kick. There you beat BFD.

I wish that was the case but these PUG people are insane and require weird stuff to join them.
Gotta start your own pugs. You can clear the raid with assorted preraid bis and some random greens.
Why do you want to join groups that are ran by players who do not understand how the raid works?

I’m running blackfathom sharpening stone on offhand and have the 1% hit from the void gloves. I’ve got 3 drops from bfd and generally end up in top 2 in pugs. Rogues are still quite decent with average/pre-bis gear.
As Galakai said, as long as you can kick chains then there’s no reason for a raid not to take a rogue as long as you bring a single fap pot.
Achksually the 1st boss is immune to bleeds, so you would spam sinister strike/backstab 
If you can clear the raid with assorted greens why does the community require parse checking, greench, wb consumed and discord for it?
And dont say they dont or its not the normal, cause it is

I’ve cleared BFD 9 times with no shadow pot, greench, and half the time I don’t even use FAPs. The raid is easy and if people ask for this crap go next.

All the bosses are equal to level 27.
So whatever your base chance to miss regardless of what you do at 25 + 2 levels.
For casters its around 11% I think, some say 6 or 7. It’s hard to tell because the numbers are weird for us and there isn’t a clear consensus on what it should be.
You know weapon augmentations like sharpening stones only apply to the weapons they are used on right? You’re just giving hit to ONLY your offhand attacks by putting it on your offhand.
running one in the primary also would override wildstrikes right?

You’re right, it would overwrite wild strikes, but it’s practically a waste of money to put it on your offhand, as all it does is give you 2% more hit on your 50% damage white ofhand strikes. I would just not waste money with anything on my offhand. Maybe just a regular sharpening stone, if you feel utterly compelled to put something on there.

I healed a rogue in greens with no stamina, he 1 tanked ghamoora with -100% armor, tanked kelris, did the cheese 1 tank on akumai IIRC.
I mean, sure, do what you want, just letting you know, that 2% hit isn’t helping you land your kicks, or your saber slashes

So you dont want to put the sharpening stone on your main hand?
not if you have a druid with wildstrikes in your party. The stone will prevent you getting the buff otherwise yes.
Mandatory, no. Better than what else is on offer without wildstrikes yes.

I didn’t say clear the raid fast, but it can be cleared without perfect gear. Everyone wants to parse and clear instantly. Still plenty of guilds and pugs accepting lesser geared players on wild growth.
