Like the cost to complete the quests?
Cost varies because you need materials from ah. Like 3 dark iron bars/20 enchanted leather/ect.
Think an npc asks you for 15g and an item from plague lands costs 120g. I might be missing a 40g cost somewhere too but the main cost will be the materials.

naw its about 500 total give or take like 50 more or less depending on the ah mats.
its at least around 350 or so just for the “have to spend” for the quests.

At Least on Wild Growth mats are CHEAP Arcane Crystals are like 20g, Black Lotus is below 10g. Arcanite Bars are like 70g a pop but if u have a alchemist your spending 20g to make a mat that costs 70g. Same with Mooncloth and Cured Rugged Hides. (extra procs if you are 300 in those professions).
Which is pretty awesome. Abundant reagents to make the stuff and procs galor. Flasks of Supreme Power are 30g.

i mean ya p4 inflation is insane i just sold 2 boes for over a couple hundred gold. but the average player/casual wont be able to attain gold like that. thats all i meant by “if you dont buy gold” etc. ofc if you actually play the game gold isnt an issue but its annoying and for a normal player, unattainable
why farm gold for hours. think how the gold buyers think. its simple math. example= lets say u farm 200g/h and 200g= $5 (idk the prices just an example) and you make at least $20/h at your job. why would a casual player trade an entire hour of their irl time farming gold when they can just work for what, 15mins =$5 = 200g? the exchange for time/gold farming spent is 3X. this is why ppl buy gold. its legit blizzard themselves unwillingly promoting RMT.
so ya if you dont buy gold youre actually just wasting your time playing SoD (unless youre a true wow gamer)
Maybe it’s just Wild Growth then? All of the BoE T0 wrists and belts are under 10g. And Most gloves are around 50g or less. Mats are cheap, consumes are cheap.
It could also be because so many people are leaving PvP servers because PvE is far superior.
