How much gold do you have? Two questions in one topic

Starting off the bat, how much gold do you have atm? you can go across all characters or just 1 character you post on.
The second question is, What was your most gold carried? the all-time wealthiest moment of your wow career.
the reason I’m asking these questions is I’m kinda shocked at how wide the wealth gap in wow is.
It’s either your a multi-million gold-capped auction house flipper or a very, very tight wallet penny pincher.
there really isn’t a middle ground from what I see. I hope to be proven wrong.

I typically sit around half a mill. If I get much more than that I tend to slack off on getting more gold and/or start buying tokens.

Most gold carried is probably ~1.3 mill or so when I borrowed some gold off a guildy to grab Francois.

Seven million less than before I bought a virtual spider and virtual dinosaur.

I don’t do the AH at all, and as you can see above, I’m not a penny pincher. I just find it more rewarding these days in the game to find ways to make gold than to e-peen my way to the top of El Raderio’s charts.

And then, with my gold, I can buy each expansion’s AotC mount and annoy the “but it devalues my achieeeeevement” crowd while doing so. Win!

I’m a sucker for pets in WoW which are just the stupider version of regular pets.

Francois and the smushed face ghost cat are some of my favourites.

About 2M. I dont spend any time whatsoever playing the AH.

I’m uncomfortable with the idea of publicly stating how much gold I have. There might not be as much account hacking going on these days as there used to be, but bragging about being rich in-game used to be a sure fire way of painting a target on your back for hackers.

About half a million on each of my main Horde and Alliance servers. About 100k on each of my secondary servers.

I’m pretty poor these days compared to in the past, i think i have 2 million on my main but back in the day i played the AH and was the main trader of high end items such as TCG mounts, i also ran a gold transfer business where i kept half my gold on horde and half on alliance, people would give me 100k or whatever they wanted moved ( + my 10% fee) and then i’d log over and give them their gold on the other side, it was a quick and easy process and was very popular on my server for a long time.

why?

i did a ingame question to a few of my guildies and the numbers where shocking.
just genuine differences between the same players where kinda strange.
like my guild master is poooooooooooooooooor. extreeeemly poor. cant stay above 20 k.
he has a gambling addiction but still.
on the other hands super casuals have millions. maybe because they dont spend it.

Or they spend their time doing different things. But, I don’t see this as a problem, everyone has the same opportunity to make gold as anyone else.

valid.
still i just want to see justification for weird pricing on the ah. i hope people arnt like breaking the bank because the ah is just… waaaaaaay overpriced.

ohhhh yeahhh! Some of the prices make me do a double take they’re so crazy, lol.

Me personally I spend thousands every day on transmogs, but I also limit the amount of money I will spend on any given item… otherwise I’d go broke super fast.

Between 1 and 3 mill, not less than 1.5 mill.

DUDE.
Duskhaven top hat on my server.
300k
whos even buying at that price!??!?

Makes me want to sell them to be honest, lol.

Just 5.6 million.

10 million.

You’re a hero that’s so nice. lol. Taking the risk out of cross faction gold swapping by gaining a reputation as a stand up trader is major kudos.
