I dont think I have ever had more than 25,000 that I’ve made myself. I suck at making gold.
Right now I have about ~18m liquid gold, and ~10m worth of stock.
This is the most gold I’ve ever had.
I think I have 2 mil at the moment, but I have nothing I really want to spend it on in Shadowlands.

My highest was almost 6 million, mid-BfA, across account. This toon, alone, had well over half a mill. And I’m not an AH goblin of any variety. Just been playing a long time, and relatively independent as far as pots and flasks and food and gear goes.
And then I found an arcane ripper on the BMAH, and it was ON. I had wanted one of those since really early on in my time in WoW, but the drop for them was already gone when I started playing mid-Wrath. It is the single most expensive in-game thing I own, as it ended up costing me a pinch under 800k.
I keep it in my bags, and giggle every time I get to use it. And transmog, of course. My unholy DK is seriously miffed that it’s the NE who gets to own it, but they’re on different servers, and it was on the BMAH for my Alliance toons.
There’s a couple of other things that I would spend serious gold for, but not too many.
Let’s just say at some point I had farmed enough to make 5 mil to buy the AH mount.
Spent the last of my “WoD wad” on the Brutosaur. Nothing left, now.
I’m a gold scrub with barely 250k to my name across all my characters. Heck, I almost bottomed out at zero last month after trying to grind and sell Leather Worker legendaries (stop laughing at me!)… ok, so the (tier 1) 190s are going for 5k nd still not moving… and the (tier 2) 210s are quickly following suit as they sink to 30-50k range.
But I’m positive when I craft another mountain of unsellable legendaries and get to tier 3, those will sell like hotcakes. I can feel it! Yeah! Chasing that dream!
p.s. The most I’ve ever had at one time was almost 900k back during the Pandaria expansion with over 100 or so listings circulating through the auction house; but since the breaking of auction automation in SL I’ve been forced to cut back to two dozen listings lately. Not that anything outside consumables and ultra rare transmogs sell reliably for a small-time trader like me.

Had about 3mil at the end of WoD thanks largely to the Garrisons on 16 characters, currently somewhere around 2 mostly because I’ve been buying game time and I’ve only been playing a couple of characters since Legion. I haven’t played around with the AH since MoP when I controlled the Golden Lotus market on the server for a bit.
I have enough gold to buy a second monitor.

- about a million. The wife and friends generally ‘need’ gold for X once Ive compiled so much, lol. That and I’ll buy tokens at times just to keep from gathering up too much gold and getting tempted to buy that abominable AH mount.
Just keep trying. Don’t force it into one that it doesn’t fit.

Over 500k on mine…and I don’t see it selling at all. I suppose the person(s) trying to sell it at that price figure they only need one dupe to buy it.

The only people who get “hacked” in WoW are idiots who fall for phishing pages, email scams, or other similar schemes.
No WoW account information has ever been hacked from a blizzard server.
Those people were phished.
