How much fun are y’all actually having with Crypts and the invasions as they are now on a 1-10 scale?
I can see it changing over time, but as of now I’d say:
Kara Crypts 9/10
Invasions 5/10
Kara crypts is fun and I’ve been positively impressed with the new content. Makes me already eager to see what they have in store for phase 8.
I’d give it a 10/10.
Invasions started as a 6/10 maybe but rapidly dwindled to a 2/10.
I really wanted that chest and spent an ungodly amount of time farming them. Had to scratch my head and comb the internet to find the script/macro/addon to insta tag the shadows, dodge raids where every one and their mothers would need on epic chest they couldn’t wear anyway and face the frustration of getting a crystal down to a few % with a small guild group only to be raided by a 20+ horde raid.
Now I get that because it’s a classic event and we have classic servers still running they can’t affect too much the event in itself but gosh I’m glad to be done.
I also appreciate the fact that they allowed everyone to grab the quest item for remnants and enchant shoulders without the need to tag a shadow.
So it’s overall not too bad since you can grab the chest in the Crypts with a bit of luck.
Luck was just not on my side I guess.
Crypt = 8/10
Invasions - 4/10
Kara Crypts 10/10 first few days, now I’d say it’s settled at about an 8/10.
Invasions 0/10 I would rather watch paint dry the crystal dies so slow.
Then it turns into a toxic grief fest with limited tagging where people just spam macros and scripts and it just brings out the worst in wow players.
Kara was a good introduction 8/10.
They probably need to get rid of the lockout or make more loot drop, 6 Kara runs now no chest piece, no dps boots, no gloves.
Invasions 1/10
Plagued with grifers, macros, weakaura.
(I can’t get a turn in due to Aussie ping)
People just needing on the chests they don’t need
Crystals die so slowly.
So far spent 5 and a half days. 45+ hours grinding Kara/invasions for the cloth dps chests and still yet to get it.
Need to make the chest buyable with runes or better yet Remnants of Valor as you get these from the same mob
Sanctified sucks, absolutely stupid system that nullifies any previous progress. Its cr4p.
Karazhan - 10 first time, 7 on repeat, fix the spider burn thing hitting players who in different rooms after the boss is dead and make it faster to complete tbh. Inflated hp on bosses doesnt add to the fights once youve beat the boss x times. Its just a waste of time.
Invasions. 10/10 the world pvp is great and the salt of retail players who want everything given to them without playing the game just adds to it.
