Currently doing m+2-6 and have been top dps in nearly every group I’m in, so I’m wondering if I can start moving into higher keys without risking bricking some stranger’s key. My DPS per fight is anywhere between 25k and 35k depending on mechanics, but never lower. Is that a high enough personal dps to move up?
Learn the pulls on each dungeon you want to complete over a +10. This means when to use cooldowns on trash and each of the bosses.
10s are a piece of cake after awhile
Good luck
There’s more of everything in higher keys so your relative DPS will drop.
It all depends on how well you can manage mechanics. Had another BM tonight only 5 ilvls lowet than me with Normal Vault bow from Rasz (Nalthsgduheheeueihs however it’s spelled) and he was pulling about 30k on single target and around 40k on AOE where I was 42-45 st and 60-80 AOE so it all depends on if you can keep up with what is going on. Like on Broodkeeper I handle eggs and never stop hitting buttons the whole time.
10s aren’t hard but from where you’re at it will feel like work to keep up. Straight DPS doesn’t tell the story. Your interrupt, stun, scatter/binding will be on CD about 90% of the run. Your heal, fort from beast, mending, wall, etc will also be used on the regular even with a good healer.
The hardest part isn’t really DPS, it’s not dying by using cooldowns and interrupts effectively. If that won’t kill your DPS constantly swapping targets and interrupting keeping the flow I’d imagine you can make it through and not hold people back.
