Shuffle winners and drop catchers, I’m not talking to you. I’m looking at the guys who had to have a GPU, like, NOW, and couldn’t keep waiting around for the gods of luck to throw 'em a bone. Tell us what you got, where you got it, and what kind of humiliating price you paid for it.

I had to buy an entirely new system back in March. My old computer was 9 years old almost to the day when it crapped out. And I mean crapped out. I bought a new computer and overpaid by probably about $300, and that was probably all in the GPU.
I blame the data miners. Jerks.
A friend of mine bought a 3080 Ti at MSRP as of early June and gave me his MSI 3070 provided I pay him $750.
Radeon 6800 for a little more than $400. Buch of A100s totaling about $100,000. Took a bit of legal action but got the A100s eventually.
I feel bad for everyone paying full price for GPUs. You can get them from suppliers at MSRP. If you don’t, expect the next gen top Radeon to be something stupid like $3,000.
I’m not seeing anything juicy being posted. I think ppl are too embarrassed to share their burns lol.
I just got a 3060 TI 12gb for $600… was part of an EVGA promotion so it came with an extra +$120 in merchandise I guess I have to sell.
I was lucky enough to purchase my RTX 2060 for $350 in 2019 and I got my 1440p 144hz monitor for $380 RIGHT BEFORE Covid took off.
I paid $850 for my 17 inch laptop with a RTX 3050ti with 144hz display…I don’t think it gets much cheaper than that.
