Was it free? Was the epic flying flight form free as well? How much did regular and epic flying cost for Druids in Tbc?

Epic Flight Form is not free … You gotta buy the riding skill, plus the quest line.

Flight Form (the regular one, not Epic) didn’t require you to have Expert Riding (Slow Flying) and could be learned at level 68 (two levels before anyone else could fly).
Swift Flight Form requires Epic Flying (Artisan Riding) before being able to undergo the quest for it. That requires full price but you can get in the air faster and much cheaper as a Druid with normal Flight Form.

Oh okay, so regular flying is free but epic flight form costs 5k gold? 
epic druid flying may not be free but you get access to a unique boss that drops a rare mount, the raven lord.

If you are interested in rare mounts you can get access to this for yourself/friends

eh, i don’t have raven lord even in retail. Getting it during tbc classic feels pretty impossible

I’m pretty sure my Horde main might end up my Tauren Druid (since I’m losing interest in playing caster DPS) so if a buddy or even a rando wanted a shot at Anzu I’d be more than willing to help. I might very well be tanking for you if I stick to my guns and go bear!

Slow flight technically isn’t free, the Flight Form spell does cost a handful of pocket change from the trainer, and will have the side effect of teaching you expert riding. So it’s more “Stupidly Cheap” instead of free.

I for one am glad that they wont release the "Druids of the Talon - Swift flight form Quests, untill 30 days before they release WotLK. These communistic game devs really know how to make quality games. Have you seen overwatch?
