I’m just a small town, country elf. So I try to stay under 40 to prevent that thing from attacking me mid raid fight. The friends and family guild I run with is dabbling in heroic, so I am not sure what is optimal.
So how much do most of you run?
38-58 depending on how I feel.
I usually go 38-39 on most chars
Usually less than 20. “when you take damage . . . this bad thing might happen” is not ideal for Blood DK.
Just got the cloak today on this one, so she doesn’t have squat to worry about.
39 or less if I’m soloing, 59 or less if I’m in a raid group, unless specifically instructed otherwise by the raid leader.
Depends. under 25 usually. If I feel particularly insane, I will swap in all my corrupt gear and see how long I survive with 100+

There’s an azerite trait that requires 25 to activate, so that would be rough. Do you just skip it?
Do you just take the hit from the THING when cloak is on CD, or do you try and run from it?
In my recent heroic runs have been doing like 61 and stuff.
Anywhere from 25-65

I take the hits. That’s why it’s at the raid leader’s discretion. If there’s no problem with healing, the TFB hits don’t hurt enough to matter unless I’m already low, in which case that’s on me for not using a cookie or personal CD like Blur.
Under normal circumstances, our healers can easily handle keeping us alive with TFBs hitting us. If we’re struggling with a given boss or if one of our healers is out and we’re using someone’s alt/offspec, then the raid leader might also ask us to cut excess corruption to conserve healer mana and generally make it easier for them.

Under 20, particularly when doing old content for mounts and mog, I have the fantastic habit of starting a fight then going to get something to eat or drink while RP and corrupted eyeball and things from beyond pop off.

Had a bad time last night with 43 corruption on a 15 freehold, kiting mobs due necrotic and having a delusion or two running after u is not ideal, I’ll say that much.

Visions is one of the main things I focus on so I try to stay under 20 as Eye of Corruption + Split Personality and Leaden Foot is not a good combo especially since I’m going to be pushing solo 5 mask now. I’m currently running duel rank 2 TD on my main and it works quite well and clearing Vison trash.

Yeah, having TFBs possible on a Necrotic week is pretty high risk. xD
