How many years until we Dracthyr Tanks? Either through new Evoker spec or allowing Dracthyr to be other classes? I enjoy playing as a Dracthyr quite bit but I also enjoy tanking.

I hope they get it next Feb 31st. Maybe by then there will be justifiable lore for them.

I mailed blizzard and they said 5 years.
If any Mail class is getting a Tank spec it better be us. 
Unlikely to happen within the next 6-8 years I would say.
They haven’t even given DHs a 3rd spec, Devastation launched a complete mess compared to Preservation, they usually settle for having a single spec in an entire class to be optimal while the rest are middle of the pack/trash tier… Something tells me they already think 2 specs per class is too much.

Long time, not every new race/class needs to tank.
that idea was abandoned in vanilla wow ages ago when shamans were terrible off tanks.
The difference is they could just let Dracthyr be warriors or w/e

However many years, we can be assured OP wont roll one, and will still whine that there arent enough tanks.
I can guarantee you I’d play one the very second it was possible.
