It’s fun to do for me. Feels like a wow version of diner dash. Awards are transmog, mounts, toys etc. And it has some player housing aspects to it.
I’m almost exalted on my first venthyr. Missed a week by accident.

I enjoy it. So does my BF. I wish I could do it more then once a week honestly. I’ve already got 2 best friends and am about halfway into revered. I like it way better then Ardenweald’s garbage unique garden thing. That can go die in a dumpster fire. I am kinda tired of getting the same shield over and over again though. How many times do I need the same cosmetic look? Even if it sells for gold I really don’t need it for the 13th time…
I do like it, I admit, and I have friends who do it every week. But it has some problems for sure.
It was way, way under-documented when the expansion came out. As time has gone on people have figured it out more, posted guides, and little tweaks have been made to make what you’re supposed to be doing more clear.
I think it’s dumb that it basically always takes place in a wreck of a general random area instead of you being able to build up to having a ballroom area or something.
I was ready to strangle someone over Droman Ailothe’s RSVP process but finally just went through and got like ten of the items at a time on a week when the first item that you needed was leather that I had a metric ton of, and now she’s the easiest guest for me to set up.
I think that having to get a new RSVP every week is dumb, though, and while I’m glad that you can stop doing that at Best Friend now, it seems pointless-ish to invite a Best Friend who can’t rank up in friendship at all at this point.
I will probably never have enough anima to get all of the levels of the Court, but I also can’t picture having enough time to race around making everyone happy. With only three possible decor, security, entertainment and food options, there are only very specific guest combos that don’t directly conflict.
Having Theotar as your soulbind for the Life of the Party ability helps, that way every completed event gives everyone bonus happiness.
Excuse you? I do Ember court every Tuesday on reset.
Elated guests sometimes give you mounts.
Depends really. It is boring as crap but some of the mog rewards are pretty cool.
Never done it more than likely will never do it
I ain’t done any of the side thingies for any of them
I did it twice, and hated it. They had the opportunity to make it cute and enjoyable but instead it’s a timed grindy mess. Crossing my fingers I never see something I want that will require me to do it.
nope. /10char
I have prioritized the portal network 100% and have barely started on it. None of my guildies say good things about it, so I don’t feel like I am missing anything.
I do it. I enjoy the weirdness of it.
I have a WoW friend that had tried it but felt it was too complicated. Because of their experience I haven’t bother to try it, though I have the quest to start and learn it. Doing Maldraxxis Abomination is very time consuming, but straight forward. Night Fae’s thing is lost and feels pointless to me.
I did the tutorial and the first week and then decided never again out of protest.
Every other covenant gets a cool unique thing and Venthyr’s get “Ember Court - where NPCs treat you like Bobby treats Blizzard employees”.
Yeah no thanks. Burn it to the ground.
It can be a little busy at first but I think after week 2 I got the hang of it
That quest sucks… the first time but the trick is to get about 10 items from the first vendor and follow the chain until the end.
Each invite (so long as u get Droman to Elated) gives 5500 rep. It takes 42000 for Best Friend status which removes the need to do the RSVP for future invites
I used to enjoy collecting… I haven’t in a while. There’s so many it takes the joy out of getting one. “Oh, another pet… now I have 1268… cool.” /never summons it.
I stopped seriously collecting pets once they made them like Pokemon. After that, I was like, “yuck…I don’t want to collect these things anymore”.
Unless of course one drops from an old school dungeon/raid that I haven’t got yet. Then that’s cool, otherwise…meh…
Man remember when having 50 was like
!!!
For real though! I don’t know how many I have. And I really don’t care tbh.
I really just want to get my 150 mounts achieve and then I won’t care about that anymore as well. Most of the mounts these days are lackluster, unless you buy the ones from the shop, those are pretty cool.
You have to do it if you want mounts…
