What makes even less sense to me: the fact that we have to earn flying back at all since Azeroth flying should literally cover ALL of Azeroth. This is including Pandaria, Broken Isles, and these two new continents. We already paid to fly on Azeroth years ago.
Pathfinder made some sort of sense with WoD: we were, technically, on another planet.

The Cata devs agreed with you (and me for that matter). You already have an Azeroth flight license.
10/24/2018 01:51 PMPosted by NightAs long as blizzard demands you stay logged in longer by being nickel-and-dimed out of your time (make it take longer to do every little thing, especially traveling) instead of making more fun content to keep us, pathfinder will remain. Not only that, they will withhold the reward of flying longer and longer each expansion until it can only be earned when the expansion is over.
Agree with this 100%. They will keep prolonging it till no one bothers. Then the devs can just remove flight, as they always wanted to.
Imagine, killing the single greatest feature differentiating your product from others of similar ilk. LOL. Talk about killing the goose. . .

(Apologies for the bump)
The thing is this (not sure if you got what I was saying): excluding WoD, every other expansion has (mostly) taken place on Azeroth:
Cata content: Azeroth
Northrend: on Azeroth
Pandaria: on Azeroth
Current content: on Azeroth
I've already put my dime/spent my time farming gold on several characters to fly on Azeroth (more than once). And not once did I complain about having to farm for gold to fly that many times.
So why do we have to go through steps 1-800 to get something back that we had to begin with (Azeroth flying)?
Again: it made sense in WoD beings we were on an entirely different planet.
i think we need to go back to lvl to get flight. i work 7 days a week i dont have time to under go long questing to get flight i still dont have flight in legion.
