This is a game to predict how many players Classic World of Warcraft will have with a Magical RPG twist to it.
TL:DR How to play the game (At the end)
A petit peu de Appetizer for the Role-play folks (Read the next part)
*You look up
Enabrann’s Magick Reliquary & Antiquarium
*Enabrann Appears
Enabrann:
"Ah Hello, Hello, and Welcome to my emporium of the Ancient, Unwise, Sinister, Chaotic, and most definitely Dangerous Relics and Artifacts of Yore.
"You wish to see into the Future, to know how many Subscribers Classic World of Warcraft will have…
…and for that you’d need a relic of prophecy…
…Fortunately for you, there are many such housed within this great domicile of artifice…
…Come in, come in, don’t just stand there"
*Enabrann beckons you in
*You enter…Reluctantly.
While the Building may have seemed rectangular and distinctly Victorian on the way in, the interior seems somehow larger and cylindrical, as if you were at the base of a large Tower.
You see disorganized piles of ancient tomes layered with papyri and weathered scrolls.
Crystal orbs inlaid with Silver filigree, Golden Pharaonic statues adorned with pictorial engravings, Pagan Totems made of animal hides, bones, and indecipherable rune engravings.
It is a sight of hideous shambles mixed with an aura of unquenching mystery.
“…so here we have” — *You just realized Enabrann is talking — "Nordic Rune Readings that are great for beginners, or maybe even the Eye of Ra, OR MAYBE…
— *You seem to lose interest and your attention drifts in and out —
“…Oh and don’t get me started on this Urim and Thummim that was used to translate the Golden plates…”
*Some unseen force directs you towards what appears to be a box draped by a velvet quill. Your hand is drawn towards it as you begin to remove the —
"NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT!" Enabrann Yells as he grabs your hand away from the box and you seem to snap out of a hazy Catatonic state.
“There are some things, that even I have never dared laid eyes upon…”
Enabrann began in a more somber tone
“I thought I told that imbecile Aberforth to put this in the Restricted section…guess I’ll have to do it myself…as usual” He Mumbled
*Enabrann took the Velvet draped box and moved towards a darkly lit corner with a downwards stair way.
*A moment passed before you hear a loud ‘Clink’ sound as something was dropped, and hear as Enabrann races up the stairs and…
SLAMS The Door shut and closes One…Two…Three different locking mechanisms.
*Enabrann looks over at you and smiles wide with all his teeth.
“Everything is fine, I assure you” and Haphazardly sticks the keys into his pockets.
“Now back to futuring the prediction…ahem…Predicting the Future, as he moves towards a table with a cup and kettle of tea.”
“I will now demonstrate for you the Art of Foreseeing the future with Tea leaves!
Please have a seat!”
He said exuberantly.
*Enabrann sits there for approximately 5 minutes sipping his cup of tea.
*He leans over and shows you a cup with residue clumped up at the bottom.
“Notice how the tea leaf residue is clumped up? Hmmm? And see how it’s a circle?”
*You nod in agreement, yet are unsure of what he is getting at.
*Enabrann fishes around in his pocket for some coins, and brings them up to your view.
“Well, we all know that coins are circular…for instance, this residue is too big for the size of a penny, too small for a quarter, but just right for a dime…”
*He looks at you enthusiastically
*You smile awkwardly
“And a dime is 10 cents…therefore these magical tea leaves predict that Classic World of Warcraft will have 10 Million subscribers!” He proclaims ecstatically.
“And good thing too, these Lipton” — *Enabrann jerks to attention
“Lipton?? Damnit that bumbling old fart has mixed up the bags again!”
“You stay here” Enabrann orders you as he marches off upstairs
*You sit there waiting and begin to doze off.
Some unheard suggestion makes you lean over the table and look at the floor.
*You see that in his hurry, Enabrann has dropped something…something very important.
