I for one have my sub coming up in beginning of January… i WILL resub.
But if i didn’t get the fel bear skin (the only good reward) i would have most definitely unsubscribed. Why? Bc i would just been upset that blizzard finally implemented something cool and unique and i could enjoy the rewards.
I genuinely feel bad for the players that aren’t getting their skins this time around. I have the mage tower feral form and bear forms. I wish other Druid’s did
Too.
I feel like at this point players that were still playing will continue to play. I would guess there were players that resubbed for the mage tower. I would think most of them quit except the few that like how hard it is to complete.
I guess what I’m saying is that the playerbase count probably barely budged pre mt to post mt
I’m using my Mute button a great deal at the moment and its mostly MT posts. I mean, I dont mind the occasional complaints about things but its just ridiculous atm. Its like people can’t just complain on other people’s posts, they have to make one of their own. Its reached historic spam levels of repeatability. Most of them arent even interesting anymore.
I would guess between 0 and 3 people. With a 5 percent error margin. To quit over something that has nothing to do with the current game is weak. The game is better off without those kind of players.
I like hard content myself. I dislike raiding and have for years because every fight is 10+ minutes. It takes hours and hours to do anything there.
Didn’t want to PvP because I thought in 9.0 warlock was trash. Didn’t want to M+ either. So went over to my ele shaman and then left the game for months. Came back during MT to beat it on the warlock knowing it was scaled down and so didn’t need current gear.
It was fun. I played it religiously until I beat it. So now it’s back to the grind. I’ll probably just level covenant a bit on the lock and then disappear again for a few months.
I didnt like it much. Im not wild about the aesthetic, I found the world clunky and the gameplay not that involving. Its funny people rave about its story yet if there were as many unavoidable rambling dialogue scenes in WoW there would be loud boo’s. It just did nothing for me (and I did give it a decent try).
The game is so popular they had to stop selling it. So many people want to play it there’s still a massive queue. Seems facts don’t line up with your opinion.
Who knows? But this is one of those things where I don’t get the complaints. Why do people want things to be brain dead easy these days? It feels like there’s so few players nowadays who legit enjoy pushing themselves to their limits and getting that fulfillment.
I haven’t even completed the new mage tower and honestly don’t plan to. I’m cool with not getting the rewards because I’m not willing to put the time and effort into remembering the fights again. There’s so much freaking transmog in this game as is I also know I would probably get bored of the set a week in.
