Personally, I would like to see as many puzzling cartel chips as blizzard would give but if we receive four, I will be happy with that.

5, spread out over many weeks. If we’re getting the best stuff, then might as well be able to fill in slots for dual-wielders and offspecs too.
Almost certain it’s gonna be 2 or 3 though.

I feel like they’ve put too many cantrip items in the patch to not have 3-5 honestly.
I’m already stuck spending them on 2 weapons because the cantrip effect Gally/Mug ones are strong enough to force that. Being able to get a BiS trinket with that in mind would be nice, but I’ll keep farming the first two bosses on mythic every week if we only get 2 dinars I guess.
I’d be fine with two for the ring and Eye of Kezan, but if there’s a third I wouldn’t mind grabbing the Mug’zee mace.
The effect is nice, but I mainly want it because it works well with the “Fun and Flirty” Trial of Style theme. Give it a berserking illusion and I won almost every Fun and Flirty theme I was a part of. I want all the colors.

I’d be happy with one at all, but I really feel like with the lack of communication from Blizzard on how cartel chips will work, we’re about to get a big womp womp L from Blizzard and they’re going to reveal with 11.1.5 launch that we can expect our first Cartel Chip in 3-6 weeks when the season is practically over
I believe the chips were initially renown 16 and 18 of the raid rep track. From what I can tell, they are essentially meant to get rare items at the end of the season as a way to help people still pushing for their seasonal goals.
Enough to get 2 decent trinkets at least. RNG plus the same clowns needing on the same gear in raid has me tilted. I just want enough to get stronger trinkets man.

Exactly what I did with mine in DF. Plus those raids still aren’t soloable, so the transmog is still worth. Meanwhile the parsers probably vendored theirs already 
Yes there are so many cantrip items in the raid that we definitely need more than 2
im hoping for quite a few. the raid has awesome drops but holy crap are the drops god awful. ive seen 1 best in slot drop and 3 house of cards drop since the season started while raiding on 3 toons a week. zenith tokens are a myth like always but the good loot especially the only crit haste neck this season doesnt drop. if rng is going to suck this much we need stuff like the dinar just so there is some kind of bad luck protection
Yes bad RNG with loot makes the game very unenjoyable to play

2 as per the original renown track suggested would be nice just to force a Jastor Diamond and Best in Slots just due to the sheer competition surrounding them in a group as everybody and their mother wants that ring, and there’s a solid amount that want the Best in Slots most of which are 2min specs that gain more from it than a Warrior would due to the desync from cooldowns. A 3rd would be nice to force 1x trinket though.
Other items have little competition so they’ll be pretty simple enough to obtain throughout the season once it’s on farm.
