I honestly want to know how many of you are either in favor of, or against addons like they are in BFA in Classic.
And your thoughts and arguments against or for.
My opinion is that they need to be completely broken the first year classic is out.

Addons just make things better, and/or easier. I love questie, because I can just knock out quests as fast, or slow as I want.

They were in original Classic, so they are going to be in this time around. People need to accept it.

I’ve used addons since the very beginning and would not want to play WoW without them.
The amazing UI customization that WoW offered was a massive contributing factor to it’s success for nearly 15 years.

I only downloaded questie, so i dont miss any quest. I just turn off the rest so i does not show me where i can complete etc.

Blizzard’s decision to design the game around a UI that was able to be customized with addons was one of the things that made WoW soar to the top of video game lists.
WoW would not be WoW without addons. And there are many very talented addon creators that deserve respect for what they do.

A threat addon was, and still is going to be absolutely necessary for any DPS.

I’ll just leave this here, world first rag kill, with addons. Some addons used in this kill were more powerful then anything we have today.

The thing is, with addons you have a choice. Without, you don’t. If you choose not to use an addon, that gives an advantage, that’s your choice. It’s more important to enjoy the game, rather than basing your choices on what others enjoy.

Yes but they were primitive compared to now.
And certain things that used to be macro’d are no longer.
I’m not too sure how much they rolled back in terms of this… I don’t know if 1 button macro’s are still a thing with this version.

I want them. They let me customize the UI and are completely optional. I have played for years both with and without them.

Will likely use a questing add-on, just for simplicity since I already went through the lore in 2006-2007. Will definitely need a threat meter (a la Omen) and something like Deadly Boss Mods can only help. I used to use Auctioneer a lot too, so I’m not fully against most add-ons…

well being that I used more addons in classic than I do in BfA, I think they should be alive and well like they were in Classic.

Actually, many Vanilla addons were much more powerful then than what you can get now.
Some addons in Vanilla could literally play the game for you after you pushed 1 button.
No way any addons can do that now.
