How Many Of You Hardcore Players?

NO!
I am going to be Self Found in the meaning that I earn every single C myself by questing, looting and professions. I will send myself profession-made things in exchange for mats as I have always done - kind of “circular WoW economics” having several characters coverin almost all proffs. AndI will trade and I will use AH. Probably not group up for other than showing someone the way, or getting shown and for named mobs / elites, as I do not do any Dungeons at all.

I do not understand this at all. Why not go to the official server and use the addon there? If you stay on BsB everyone will just say (or at least think) that you play AppealCore instead of HardCore.

maybe, but they said that it won’t be out in time for the launch, and I’m not waiting around :expressionless:

Ah forgot we’re dealing with a rag-tag team of volunteer addon coders.

Honestly a barter system is what I wish they would of implemented

I find it intriguing and a solid step in community-building.

But I am fine that Blizz decided to keep things simple and let players decide what is hardcore for the individual apart from the don’t die thing.

You could totally use the addon on the new server, sure. Just understand that not everyone on the official HC server playing official HC is going to be following the addon ruleset, is my point.

Lol, I’m gonna use every tool at my disposal. The HC addon and rules were in place because you had HC and normal gameplay on the same server.

99% of people aren’t going to get to 60 anyway the success rate is like <1%. SSF is the least of anyone’s worries.

It’s a LOT lower than that, if you account for the appeals.

My reasons. In the beginning it would be much too frustrating trying to tag the named quest bosses etc. as a ssf player for one thing. Blizzard has the habit of overcrowding zones, it will be much more efficient to group. If I played my ssf characters there, I’d want to wait until the rush slows down. I’ve had my fill of that on Bloodsail.
I have three characters on Bloodsail doing ssf between 20 - 30. It might be more efficient for me to finish them up there.

Addons too hackable. So let’s say we wanted an SSF guild, I wouldn’t feel confident fully trusting everyone is adhering to the rules.

That too. I don’t group at all in ssf because of this.

I am NOT going to use the addon again, have tried, was frustrated, as it was too restrictive in some areas, and not enough in other.
I am happily going to play my old IronMan style on the official servers.

No of course not, and it is not like this on the RP servers either.
What I am wondering is why anyone would prefer to stay on a non-HC server to still play addon-Hardcore, and the only reason I can find for this is the possibility to appeal death.

Now this I understand, I am also not going to play on the HC servers from day one - only if we’re given more of them than I fear - exactly bacause of crowded

I see you constantly using the expressionless emoji, so I got curious. I went through a few pages of your responses. And the ONLY happy emojis you use are the clown, and this post:

Nothing makes me happier than seeing people miserable over misfortunes surrounding their World of Warcraft characters!! :supervillain: :dracthyr_comfy_black: :vampire:

Do you want to talk about anything? You seem depressed, or sad.

I already did that on my warrior, no trading no AH never grouped. I really enjoyed the journey. Will probably do it again on another class, maybe lock. But also keen to level to 60 with trading proff mats etc and having more options with proffs.

Perhaps the sadness you sense is due to the fact she’s a HC Elite member and the golden era of those exploits have come to a close.

Although maybe we will look back on Bloodsail at the golden era of WoW HC in general.

There will be no SSF folk on official. Though there are some appeal folks on BSB. But since blizzard doesn’t have appeal, so appeal folks won’t play on official.

You don’t know this. Why wouldn’t a player do SSF there, it’s no different that playing on any other server.

And there are just as many SSF folks who don’t appeal there too.

I hate to break this to ya pal, you’re getting these clowns too on official. Bloodsail will go back to the smaller group of folks who like the challenge of the more difficult versions of HC. Just like before the addon, quietly enjoying their game.
