How many of you follow up with the titans stuff?

Just how many of you actually follow up on the Titan storyline? The chamber of memories stuff.

Furthest I’ve gotten is where they confirm that Azeroth is the Prime Worldsoul and the crystals like Beledar are part of her “essence” or something like that. Is there some way of advancing the story beyond turning in the discs every week?

I’ve been keeping up with it cause it’s one of the very few stories actually interesting enough to pay attention to.

Every other week a new quest drops for it. There’s been three weeks of it. I would assume you can “catch up” on missed weeks, but I don’t actually know.

I wish they hadn’t “confirmed” that so fast. They’ve left themselves very little room to pivot when they change their mind in five years and I’m skeptical of their ability to follow through, but we’ll have to wait and see. Hopefully my skepticism is unwarranted.

I’ve been reading the wowhead articles about it. I lose interest in time-gated quests pretty quick, so I haven’t paid much attention to them in-game.

I think I’ve gone in there 3 times. So not much.

They can always say that the titans lied to them.

They can, and have, many times now. But narratively, that’s a poor excuse. There’s no narrative payoff to it if it’s not true. “The titan lied” and them choosing not to include that cinematic in the first place are identical in narrative impact.

Shes a blind date behind the curtains and every cosmic being are the eager guys telling their side of the story. Void Lords, Naaru, Titans, the shirtless Jailer; they all want her on their side.

I was. Now with the latest stupidity of Beledar, I just don’t care anymore. Bad writing is bad.

I’ve been paying attention. I don’t think the Beledar reveal was as disappointing (or particularly interesting for that matter) as some people have taken it. I do love Titan lore, but I do have to take it with a grain of salt, choosing to either 1) enjoy but keeping in mind that Titans are unreliable narrators or 2) enjoy it, keeping in mind that Steve Danuser was kind of a hack, and maybe we’re witnessing a soft retcon of the lore book written by one of the brokers

Not really a retcon, the Brokers were never a reliable source past maybe Fyrim…even Venari was kinda sketchy as an exile.

The Broker write everything from the perspective of Death, while the Titans do the same from Order and so on with all the cosmic forces, each tells their narrative perspective.

Ironically the most unbiased source in SL was probably the Dreadlord Nathrezim… the people CONSTANTLY trying to fool us who you’d think would have the most unbelievable data on purpose but… ironically their journal is probably the most unbiased source we have for info on the other comic forces.

Oh dood, Venari 10/10 NPC, great VO work as always from Aysha Selim…but 1000% sus.

It gives me azerite PTSD so I’m in and out as fast as possible.

I do it weekly without fail. I am just as curious.

Questline? Where does it start? Granted haven’t really paid much attention to story/lore since the wolk days.

I turn them in and walk away. I also tend to skip all quest text. Story is not why I play this game.
