Friendly reminder to be civil.
I’m genuinely curious to how many people think a delay would be a bad tactic by Blizzard.
Because I have yet to see one.
EDIT: So far the only reasons why I would see the delay as a bad tactic is because of the delivery of the delay, and the fact where employees are forced into a crunch.
Why?
It doesn’t matter what they’re for or against. It’s happening.
I would rather avoid a BFA style launch.
Depends. If I have beta, I’m not. If I don’t I am. This is how it’s working right? I don’t care though. This week has been pretty miserable over all for me.
If its any longer than the 10th of November there may be problems.
its a step in the right direction and more in line with our old and beloved Blizzard. I would rather wait and have the game released how they want to release then to rush it through incomplete.

I am very much for the delay as its broken as hell.
That is completely independent of disappointment and frustration on WHY its delayed and the massive inconvenience it leaves me with.
Why the 10th of November?
I’m all for the delay (I’m rather relieved actually); I grew up playing Blizzard games, so I’m used to the Old Blizzard Polish.
It’s just a little shocking, because the last time Blizzard delayed an expansion was with BC. BC was supposed to launch in Oct 2006 (or Nov 2006 – my memory is a tiny bit blurry there), but it got delayed to Jan 2007.
That was 13 years ago.
Here’s to hoping Blizzard makes most of the extra time!
I’m okay with the delay, but only because they gave us a pre-patch date and I’m still missing a few transmog items from Ny’alotha.

Honestly tired of twitch streamers and youtubers using their communities to ruin the game i play. These dudes just mount farm all day and get things handed to them and they think they have an opinion that their audience should trumpet to blizzard. I’m sick of that.
Everything is getting delays this year. These things happen. I don’t really have a hard opinion on this one.
A delay is significantly preferable to forcing employees into an unethical crunch period, all else aside.
Be prepared to the completely disappointment and frustration to the fact nothing will change due to the delay but the money flowing for blizzard by launch.

I’m all for the delay as long as Shadowlands is better for it. And that’s what it looks like so great news.
