I assume you guys still enjoying Shadowlands? huh?
I did…in 2007.
Same /10char
I already did on this alt when BC was current. Not doing it again.
Shadowlands is still going to be my main.
I got 58 boost. Gathering Silverleaf is SO MUCH FUN!
On the serious note though, I think TBC is a good change of pace overall. There are people who only play Classic. Good for them. But as someone who enjoys faster pace mechanics and more than 1 button rotation, I will be sticking with retail indefinitely.
Some get a kick out of 2-mechanic boss fights. I don’t.
Some get a kick out of drinking water after every mob. I don’t.
So I will hopefully ding 70 by the end of the year. Get D3 set on my paladin and quit. But I would play Wrath a little more… I miss Wrath holy paladins. That’s for sure.
I played classic when it was actually good. In 2004. Also it was called vanilla.
I made a space goat and played a little tonight. It’s slower, but the questing is identical to what is in retail currently. So not really sure if I’ll stick with it for very long.
This is where TBCC lost me. Like, at least Classic had content that isn’t in the live game anymore. BC is just… BC. I can go play it now lol. Hell with Chromie Time I could level a whole alt there if I hated myself enough to go all the way through the oldest content in the game.
I made a level 1 BE on a low-pop server just for fun, mostly because all the players who chose Faerlina were crying that their known high-pop server had a login queue last night when servers finally came up.
Haven’t actually done a single quest, and likely never will.
I started a hunter. I already have a warrior from Vanilla Classic. Transferred her over to TBC and will level her there as well.
I started playing this morning but got off to work on some stuff on retail, when I tried to get back on I had an hour queue so I said nah lol I’ll be leveling from 1-70
The original Classic was interesting to me since I never had the chance to play it (started in TBC) plus that old world was gone after Cataclysm so it was nice to have a chance and go see the old world as I remembered it. But TBC classic doesn’t really appeal to me much. I already played it while it was current and on live the Outlands are still the same as they ever were and as I remember them. As someone that just came back from a long break after MoP I’m still enjoying Live as it is and leveling alts on it.
I made a belf with my bf today. I really missed the old female hunter animations, but that’s about it. I might change to priest just to heal again ᕙ( • ‿ • )ᕗ
I saw that boost option and had a hearty chuckle. I guess it’s no longer about the authentic experience.
Not playing anymore at all. The expansion has taken the Blizzard atmosphere out of the game. Basically that Blizzard Feel is gone and so am I.
TBF, boss fights started getting more interesting in TBC vs 'nilla.
That’s what I did originally, at least partly because I had no interest in playing on a PvP realm. Flash forward to today and unless I want to shell out some real money, that character will forever be on a dead realm.
As far as playing BC content, that’s what I’m doing in retail.
I’m going mainly for the community, playing retail is like playing singleplayer mode frankly, while in TBC you get a real multi-player experience at least. And when you meet people they won’t disappear into the void known as CRZ never to be seen again. You’re on the same server.
Wait until people realize what blade’s edge mountain is like without flying LOL.
Ogrila dailies w/o flying? That’ll separate the wheat from the chaff.
