I am genuinely curious how many people are like me and want classic+! I feel we should start talking about it and keeping it a current topic to show it has support. So how many of you guys want classic+ and feel TBC would be a bad path to take?

I like the idea of classic+ I just have no faith that the people making the game right now could steer us in a direction that would be enjoyable. Everything the community enjoys about classic is largely the work of other people.

I don’t really know what Classic+ means. Additional QoL changes that didn’t exist in Vanilla? New content not in Vanilla?
I guess I’d have to know what changes are planned first.

Ditto, it would be nice, but the margin of error is too high for it to be good. Would prefer at least the safer option of doing BC and later Wrath, as they were considered the last 2 good expansions based upon numbers at the time.

I just don’t see much discussion on this topic other than people saying it won’t happen. For the people that want classic+ we need to be actively discussing what we want and finding some sort of common grounds. And hope blizzard pays attention

Essentially new content to old dormant stuff they had planned in Vanilla.
There were tons of areas and zones that had ‘under construction’ (literally) markers by them or cut off (but people got to anyways) that they scrapped.
Including places like the Dragon Isles and Gullivans? Island. TONS of stuff.

Exactly. Classic + to me is simply expanding the world and content available. And QoL improvements that didn’t hurt the classic experience . Even new races added in because really if done right they wouldn’t hurt classic.

It’s never too soon. They earlier they decide what we want and start working on it the better. You can’t just ask for it in 2 years when they would have BC prepped and ready

Yeah, I can see this argument. It would be dope to get content that is new but in the spirit of vanilla. My faith that it would be done well is rather diminished.
Most of us do want either nothing or classic plus.
TBC is easy money from a business standpoint but from my perspective was total dog caca. So much garbage for a sliver of good pve content (which I’m really only interested on PvP anyway) and obsoletion of all classic content? Yeah nah hard pass.
My hopes is that we can decide on what is right for classic+ and maybe blizzard would listen to us. A conversation and debate on what we would like as a community to have added to classic
