How many new locks

Thanks to all the new locks coming in, I’mma likely just stay on my hunter and eat whatever new warlocks try to come and PvP, since they’re getting nerfed a bit if I’m hearing things right.

Whenever people are re-rolling a class, I like to play the counter-class lol

If I were rolling a Male Draenei Warlock, I’d definitely be rocking the Archimonde outfit. But I am probably gonna be rolling a Female Draenei Warlock.

Eh I’m sticking with this one.

Altho I am entertained at the idea of Rosenivy taking a small break from the Dragon Isles to make sure the new locks are up to the challenge.

How did they get retconned after Legion? :robot::question:

At least there’s a cool outfit? :kimono::robot:

I’m not sure what they mean but eredar used to be a race of demons. Before TBC of course.

I got 2 locks already. DOnt need more

They should be tauren and HMT. Best new lock race.

Warlocks have sooooo many good outfits. Especially this one! (even if it’s a bit overused)

It’s fine if it’s a little overused as Gul’dan is iconic to the Warlocks.

When did they get retconned? As far as I know, they’re still the following?

Man’ari eredar — The eredar that joined the Burning Legion became demons. While they still refer themselves as eredar, the draenei came to know them as man’ari.

Probably none. I have a warlock that I haven’t played since Legion.

That’s the retconn.

Before TBC they were known as a race of demons and that’s it.

Oh!

:robot: :+1:

So not a retcons, just expanded on their lore.

Honestly, I thought they meant they got deleted outright recently.

Well, it was one of the first big retconns in WoW.

Eredar was just a race of demons that was part of the Legion. Then Blizzard changed it to they were a race of good or… normal beings that were corrupted. Originally they were not corrupted by Sargares, he just found them that way.

So yes that’s a retconn.

Why is this the terminology?

Eh… I see it as expanding their lore. All we knew is that they were demons. And they still are. But now we know their origin.

Old D&D lingo.
