So I tried to be a good samaritan yesterday. It was free t-shirt day and not everyone goes to info sites like wowhead to get all the info there is about holidays. For most the only visible objective was the T-shirt Cannon patrolling SW and Org, a source of free versions of shirts you could buy from various vendors anytime of the year. NOT the source of the seven shirts exclusive to this holiday. Those vendors were scattered across the world. When I tried to inform people of this, and form groups with optimized routes and portal services, I was either ignored or people piped up to continuously to contradict me that the t-shirt cannon was the only thing to do. Thankfully there were several who took me up on the offer, there was a large group (which was only 7) an hour before the event ended, but how many missed out on the true loot of Free T-shirt Day?

Eh, I’d like to think that my Perseverance got a good number of guildies and about 20 randos to the good stuff.
I was looking forward to T-shirt day for months because I wanted one of the special shirts for a mog. So I made sure to visit all the vendors.
I missed it, I already knew about the shirts and stuff thanks to Mortis’ post, but I wasn’t aware they would be some highly sort after thing.
I’ll admit I’m surprised that Blizz would release such limited gear on a micro-holiday but frankly making sense of anything they do these days is a crap shoot at best.
Thankfully just shirts, I don’t do half naked toons or pirates much so I’m cool with it, just this tiny nagging voice in the back of my head scolding me for missing the “free” stuff

I am sorry to hear you were ignored and that some folks missed out on visiting the T-shirt vendors for the unique shirt mogs.
I remember reading about the micro-holiday months ago and was looking forward to it. Logged on yesterday, tossed my WoW daily chore list into the wind, and went shirt hunting!
I got them all of course. I also got the Free T-shirt buff and title from the event NPC. I like that the shirts from this event are permanent! So many things from micro holidays are just temporary.
I never did get a solid answer in that other thread --> over there somewhere.
But Wowhead lists the 7 unique vendors, and then mentions there are TWO MORE SECRET vendors! But in trying to be coy and keep a secret, they end up being misleading.
Because later in the comments section, it’s pointed out that the “secret” vendors aren’t so much secret, as they are data-mined and assumed to be added in NEXT YEAR’S T-shirt holiday.
But I never could get a solid answer about it. And now the event is over. So I hope it’s just 7 new shirts, and not 9.
Wowhead outright asks for people to tell them if they find the vendors or anything about them. I did not feel they were being coy. They wanted to know too!
As far as I know though, there were only 7 this year. I went through all the comments and paid attention in-game to chat. No mentions of the two datamined NPCs being live.
The vulpera vendor is now selling the 7 vendor tshirts in booty bay. So that takes care of where that one is.
I’m saying that because of how they present it. They specifically mention “secret” vendors. oooooh it’s a SECRET!!! And hey, if you discover the SECRET… let us know!
I’m calling that out because it’s not a fine line between “a secret” and a “rumor.” So which is it? Seems to me, Wowhead had zero actual knowledge of any other vendors, but instead were running off data-mines/ plain rumors. What’s worse, THEY don’t even admit to it, it takes someone in the comments section to clarify this misleading detail.
I just think that’s shady. Why do that?

There were ALREADY 7 unique vendors for this day.
If you’re saying there is a Vulpera vendor in BB, that would be new, and would be an eighth.
And the Holiday is over, isn’t it??? How is the Vulpera vendor there now?

That vendor charges for them all - the other vendors yesterday you got them for free.

They didn’t say secret. They said “mystery”. AKA nobody knows, not even we do.
Also: They did find one of them.
Skin-Me-Own-Coat Dibblefur sells Free Shirt Day shirts for 500g each for people who missed Free Shirt Day.
He is not “new” he is one of the two “mystery” vendors that Wowhead did not know the location/purpose of.
He is a SCALPER - as in sells things for a huge markup because you can’t get them the original way. The shirts were free yesterday. Now they are 500g each.
So, one mystery solved. I expect the other vendor is going to be in the BfA zone next year. That was the only expansion that did not have a Tshirt vendor.

Some people just can’t be helped but kudos for trying! They must not frequent the forums either because there were a few threads about tees and the vendors were mentioned in all I think.
Wasn’t there, missed that, didn’t get the T-shirt.
I got all of the vendor ones yesterday :). I didn’t notice till I saw Wowhead.
