How many make it to max level and raid content before phase ends?

I am curious how many players are making it to 40 and having enough time to get into endgame content? Does Blizzard have any statistics around this?

I assume leveling was a recognized problem at some point, which led to the xp boost. Now, I see that we will get another one off the bat which convinces me its still a problem they foresee.

Even with the insane xp bonus we got me and the friends I play with will still not make it to 40 before the phase ends. We are adults, with jobs, some with families, and so for us WoW is just a game we play to have fun so we don’t do things like spamming SM because, that’s not fun. We’ll do 1 or 2, maybe 3 SM runs in a night and call it. I always assumed we were in the minority, but I am curious now.

Ultimately, I think the phases are all a moot point as once we get to 60 that will be when we all catch up.

I got 3 lvl 40s and 3 in their 30s. I also work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week. Not seeing the issue

So you have no life.
Not trying to be mean by basic math:
24 * 7 = 168 hours in a week
8 * 7 = 56 hours of sleep minimum to be healthy
5 * 12 = 60 hours of work
1.5 * 7 = 10.5 hours of eating (not necessarily cooking)
.5 * 2 * 5 = 5 hours of commuting

Leaving just ~5 hours a day to everything else - take care of family, workout, spend time with friends, etc.

Gnomer isn’t a “beer and pretzels” raid, so the participation threshold is much lower.

Wait a minute

Let’s discuss this before getting all feisty

Like you stated…

What is the 0-40 /played time currently?

There’s probably 3 versions:

  1. Is the speed run time taken
  2. Is the enjoy the game time taken
  3. I would assume is an average

2 is the one I am focused on as 1 I know I can’t do and probably wouldn’t want to anyway for my first 40.

I think I am just curious of the total # of players who are lagging behind and ultimately is that why we are getting xp boosts? If the levels end at 60 it ultimately won’t matter anyway so I am just looking forward to the 60 cap as that will normalize it all I think

Hard to tell. I’ve got an alt at level 39 that I only ran BFD with once during P1. My time played on that one is 1 day and 9 hours.

BUT, he’s also leveling with the XP boost currently.

how do you not have a 40 yet? that’s crazy

And it’s not just me. I was thinking that it was just that my time is stretched so thin with work, family, friends, working out, etc. But come to find almost all of the people I play with (and we’ve played since 2004) also will not have a 40 by phase end. We’ll be close - we’re all 37-38 now.

you can’t get 3 levels in a week and a half with a 100% xp boost? you’ve got to be kidding

do like… 5 quests and 2 sm cath runs? lol it’s that easy

Ok. @OP

Sthis helped you out

Let’s up that to 40 hours so I can help you budget.

In the service folks like to think of time in a manageable way. Don’t think of it as 40 hours left. Think of it as one hour in at first.

Break that 40 hours up into increments.

What is your time situation @OP?

Does that mean you have 30 minutes a day? Do you have a laptop? How about bathroom time. Perhaps you have free time while pooping

Between now and April 4th I will likely have 4-6 hours to play total - Easter weekend so I’ll be busy, leaving likely just a couple hours friday and a couple hours monday or tuesday

Well that is 6 of the 40 hours.

15% isn’t bad.

What level are you at?

“not trying to be mean” yet just insulted him without even knowing anything about him. It takes basically no time to level to 40 with the 100% exp bonus.

yeah reality hurts

for playtime:
37 now - i have a bunch of quests in STV but pvp deaths typically burn the most time. Getting camped may take up 20-30 mins

OP is likely trolling

But what do we do when someone ask for money?

Teach a toon to fish like they say.

Otherwise if it just wants money for drugs it will move along

Ah I understand. you’re a troll got it.

Yeah I understood based off his comment of “yeah reality hurts”. Troll or one of those that views working their life away as the true enjoyment of life.

if you’re choosing to quest in the pvp event and also notoriously dangerous world pvp zone, you’ve got something wrong the forums can’t help with

Nope not trolling - if all you do is work, sleep, and play wow you dont have a life. Like welcome to reality? You need to get healthy sleep/working out/socializing, etc. Also this dude comes out the gate dismissing my question immediately - like I’m supposed to respect that? nah dude if there’s too much heat in the kitchen, leave.
