Just out of curiosity would like to see how often others play per month. For me I played way more often WoD and pre-Legion- In Legion I probably played 3-5 hours/day and towards the middle I got really bored of the expansion, I always kept up on my Main though doing the Argus WQ’s and stuff like that and even on 1-2 Alts
In BfA, I just realized the past 2-3 months I honestly play like 4 hours a day and only like 3-4 days out of the week. There will be times where I know my B-Tag would say “Offline for 3 days”
I just can’t get the motivation and interest anymore especially since there’s no PvP Vendors. It’s either not logging in, or logging in and doing a Mythic+, Rated PvP (If I actually want to deal with stress from bad players in group) or LFR/Find a group for Normal
I know there is countless things to do in WoW, I just have lost a lot of motivation to want to sign on and play. Regardless tho, no game will ever beat the memories and fun WoW STILL has
Ty for reading but yea like almost feel like a waste of 15$ - however that’s super cheap for a monthly payment for a massive fun game…I just have to re-find that fun

Assuming four weekends to the month, about 28 hours. 3 hours raiding on Friday night, roughly 4 hours of mythic+ with friends on Saturday.
Back in MoP, I’d often play 4 hours per night after work, and longer on days off; even in Legion, I’d play 15-20 hours a week. Between the story in BfA, and the fact they watered down the good bits of Legion while doubling down on the grind, I just can’t be bothered to log in.

On average, I probably play at least an hour a day. Several on the weekends.

Around 10 hours a month now. I usually only log in for the weekly raids and a 10 key on a couple characters now.
Before BfA I’d put in an easy 25 hours a week. Now we’re down to less than half of this a month.

Depends on how much M+ people want to do and how many people I’m talking to that want to join the raid team, but I’d say right now I’m averaging 30 hours a week so 120 hours a month. That will go up once the new zones come out.
I should add that lots of hours shouldn’t be mistaken for enjoyment. This expansion is garbage. I only play a lot because if I cut back, it would take twice as much effort to get back to the same level of play.

It’s just a weird gear system this expansion. I am at 405 item level on Main and solid 400 on my Alt. The thing is, I barely play to get that item level. I just do what others have said and do maybe 1-3 M+ which takes like no time at all… out of a whole week
Otherwise like i said I could do lots of other stuff i just don’t have interest in it

They’ve created a game that caters to people who don’t play. A trivial amount of play time will net you a very subtantial ilvl. Additional time spent beyond that yields dimishing returns. Mythic raiders spend huge amounts of time learning, preparing for, and executing raids, yet have gear that’s barely better than people who put in a fraction of the time.
Blizzard is actively discouraging people from playing their game. It’s silly.

Since I’ve started twinking again, about 2-3 hours a night at about 5 nights a week. When I was doing end game content, I logged in for raids for 6 hours a week and was offline the rest of the time. Legion was my most played expansion with 7-8 hours a night while playing every single night.
Yea I used to do that too except it was Pre-WoD (Meaning always wanting to log on as soon as i was available)
I just want many features of the damn old system back!! (PvP Vendors main example) Tiers, etc then i would def get my motivation back
I do a /played on all my toons every couple of years and record the number. Without actually pulling it up, I think it was 4 hours a day in classic then was more like 2.5 per day after that, on average. Legion was the least, with less than 2 hours per day, not because it was bad, but because I was working on music projects more for a while. I like alts and hate pathfinder, so that also dampened my interest in having a second job. In BFA it’s closer to 2.5 per day again.

It happens to almost everyone, eventually. I’ve switched from WoW to another MMO 5 different times, though I always came back to WoW.
We all get tired of doing the same stuff. And no matter how much the devs try, it’s basically the same stuff.
It’s even worse for most of us. Most players (like me) only do around 25% of all the content. Most players don’t like PvP and raiding and Mythic and alt-leveling and…

It’s quite difficult to balance Blender, Paint Tool Sai, wow and other games. With the edition of cooking, cleaning, catering to crops, as well as studying, I manage to play WoW for a maximum of 4 hours.
Back in Wrath I played anywhere from 12 - 18 hours a day. Since I came back in late legion I play maybe 3 - 4 hours a day but I’m currently also reading the Diablo series, on Diablo: The Black Road. It’s a lot more violent than the first book but this author is very good. As I’ve gotten older even 4 hours of gaming feels like a lot, I like to spread what I do during the day around and do different things.

In the 8 and a half years I’ve been subscribed, I haven’t missed very many days of playing WoW. I probably average about 20 hours/week.
Im pushing prob around 400 hours a month maybe more… no life and no other games interest me atm
1-3 hours a day usually on weekdays more on a fresh patch
between 1 and uh I dont want to admit how long on weekends though.
I’ve cut back since Wod and legion but still no where near what I played in TBC, Wrath and Cata.
Used to be everyday but now not at all until 8.2 rather play Diablo 3.
That’s really horrible and unhealthy if this is true.
Four to eight hours per day, depending. Every day. So, anywhere from 120 to 240 hours per month. Let’s just call it 200.
I have a bit over 700 days /played in twelve years, so that’s basically 1/6 of every day, or four hours.
That person might be in a situation like me. I don’t work a traditional job (not necessary), and the services I provide to earn my rent and utilities are elder care services, to people here on the property (two homes, one me and my wife, the other her folks and aunt who suffers from Autism).
My responsibility, though not a traditional job, is 24/7/365. Outside of local trips for necessities, or brief recreation, I need to be here. I cannot take vacations or be gone for hours in a row.
My recreation consists, of music, television, and this game. I take appropriate breaks. My health is fine.
