Just out of my own curiosity.
I started playing WoW in 2006 when I was a whopping 9 years old and had f*** all to do all day. Now I’m 22 with a full-time job and a host of other responsibilities and I only see myself being able to play a couple hours a week tops. But I’m still gonna go for it.

Being retired, but with a baby, I’m planning on 8 hrs/day on average until I hit 60. I need to hit 60 pretty quickly in order to pace the guild. My wife will probably put in about half that much and take a bit longer to 60.

If you’re young enough to have a kid, you’re either unemployed or self employed. Not retired. Just putting that out there.

After the first week? Probably close to 20, for a good bit during phase 1, taper off till Phase 2, and then go HARD.
During the first week? Its going to be really really ugly…I’ll be burnt out hard by Saturday.
about an hour a day workdays and 4 hours a day weekends, i have 3 day weekends every week. Took me about 5 days played to hit 40 during beta
hrm, the same or more. i was 20 when it released lol.
hate to break it to you friend.
Going to go really hard first week to rush to 60 then will cut Down to about 3-5 hours a day
I’ll be playin’ at least 4 hours daily. Rest of the time I’ll be too drunk to play

Just to get to 60 because I need to be involved on the various lvl-60 guild activities. I do not plan to hardcore play that much afterwards.
Another retired guy here, finding time to play will not be difficult.

I’ve been retired since age 45. Disability retirement, but retirement none the less.
That aside, you did come across quite rude in your response, just in case you wonder. Or cared.
on that note, I can play however long I want, as long as my body cooperates that is. Usually I end up in my wheelchair about 18 hours or so a day, generally spent either on the computer, making jewelry or ruining a lot of polymer clay for a few good pieces lol. I’m packing all that up, clearing off my desk, and getting ready for WoW. I need a bead break anyway lol.

Gonna aim for 12-16 on days off, and 8 or more on work days.
