Even then, the subject wasn’t about necrothreadmancy. It was about feigning outrage over the spam. She was just trying to switch the subject to that. The issue wasn’t that two high elf thread were bumped after 2 weeks. It was that there were already 4 active, but she decided to complain about the opposition thread - then pretended she couldn’t see those other threads.

You should tell Bucky there not to personally attack people then. It’s not actually mass flagging if people think it was offensive, even if the mods undo it. He wasn’t adding anything to the conversation other than vitriol for one side, it’s not exactly odd that a post like that would end up having people thinking it was just trolling.

He criticized people who abuse the forums’ flag system and only referred to specific people “in your side” who behave inappropriately. I feel that’s something even you guys should criticize, I’m sure you’re not okay with trolls, regardless of whether they agree with your stance on playable HEs.
Yeah, that’s only when a pro is flagged. When an anti is flagged it’s a meticulously organized group of helfers who target specific antis and mass flag them just to try to get them suspended. That’s your logic, isn’t it?
And yet it wasn’t trolling, as decided by mods. Just like all my posts in the old Helf megathread who were mysteriously mass flagged a month ago weren’t considered “trolling” either.
Perhaps people should reconsider why they’re feeling offended so often by words that aren’t even targeted at them.

He tried to say that the people against high elves are some of the worst most toxic posters on the forums. With all the horrid racist, sexist, and whatever other ist posts that somehow don’t get removed from the forums he’s going to single out one side in a long going argument about game preference as “worst”
Indeed, that’s why I don’t think it’s a problem his posts got hidden. They didn’t add anything but more of these stupid accusations that escalate the emotions in the thread. We’re arguing pixel elves and game style here, no one’s a horrible person due to their views on that.
Depends on the situation. Is it months old posts getting flagged when someone comes off a forum vacation repeatedly. That’s probably at least one person abusing the system. Did someone attack another group in an over the top way? That can happen naturally.
Maybe people should realize it’s just pixel elves and not attach moral weight to one’s opinion on them and smear others for their tastes.

It’s a lot more than that from what I saw. Though I’m sure most people can agree about the abusing the forums flag system part. I’m with you whole heartedly there. I don’t care who you are if you’re operating any sort of flag brigade that’s not cool.
