How many Gul’Dans?

Are we going to run into in The Shadow Lands? There’s at least two on the loose in there that we know of, so we’re going to need a sorting system to tell them apart

I now open the floor to suggestions

idk but your mog is badass

So long as we don’t run into Gul’Tim, then it’s all good.

Gul’Bob is pretty cool so I wouldn’t mind him.

Gul’Can’t is too negative, he’s right out.

The SL from what I can tell is an amalgamation of all timeline versions of the character, so AU and our guldan will be the same being. How this will be explained in more detail I do not know.

if we get Gul’dan again this is the the players response

I propose we put a drop of blue paint on the top of our Gul’dan’s head, and a drop of orange paint on the top of alternate gul’dan.

This way we know which one is getting into any sort of antics

The SL from what I can tell is an amalgamation of all timeline versions of the character, so AU and our guldan will be the same being. How this will be explained in more detail I do not know.

So when our Velen dies they’ll be like “sorry. We got a Velen two expansions ago. You’ll have to amalgamate now.”

Is it possible that this expansion is stupid? Or is it Warlords that was stupid. They couldn’t possibly both be stupid …Could they?

This is a complicated question. How do you deal with things like alternate Draenor? There was a Draka there. What is that Draka? Is she alive? Is she dead? Is she related to the Draka in Shadowlands that we see? Or is there another Draka? We know that in Warlords of Draenor, Velen of that universe died. Does that mean there is a Velen in the Shadowlands? But what about the Velen in Azeroth? All these things are very complicated questions.

The way I would have you think about it is think of a rope… If you look at a rope, it is one thing, right? It’s something that you can grab onto, you can hold it, you can see it; think of that as a character. Think of that rope as Draka or Velen.

If you look at that rope more closely, you can see there are different threads that make up the rope. There are different twines that pull together, and you can pull off one of these threads if you want. But it’s still a rope, and each of those threads you can think of as one of the realities of the character, one of the streams of time… There is a thread that is the Draka from Draenor we visited in the Warlords of Draenor. There is another thread that is Draka on Azeroth as we know her… And there are many other threads that could be other realities that we never peered into. But all of those threads at some time come together to make that rope. And remember also that, as you’ll see, that there are many characters in the Shadowlands when they refer to time, they usually say that time is not a construct of Death. Time and Death are not related. Death is about eternity, not linear time. The manner in which these threads come together, that can take a very long time from mortal perceptions. Those threads can be separated for a time, but sooner or later, they do combine to make one rope that is that character. You can think of it as the threads of that rope, all the individual threads, are just waiting. And over time, they will come together but they can exist as separate entities for a time. That still doesn’t change the fact that they are part of one rope.

On a 1-10 scale how much do they regret WoD

That depends on how awesome the Dual’Dan boss encounter is.

If Gul’dan Blue distracts us while Gul’dan Orange drops an elbow on us off the top rope it may all have been worth it.

Don’t let his age fool you I saw the movie. Gul’dan is shredde- oh god no.

Movie Gul’dan!!

So this whole thing confuses me. Because if there are infinite timelines, that means we see hundreds of thousands of the same person? I don’t get it. Someone with a better working brain please explain this to me.

Criminy! More Gul’dans!

The dumb analogy the devs use is that every character is a rope, and every version of that character from every timeline is a single thread in that rope. So every character we see in SL is actually an infinite number of different versions of that character in one body.

All because they didn’t want to say it was an AU Archimonde.

As long as we keep Gul’Joseph away from Gul’Gad, Gul’Levi, Gul’Reuben, and Gul’Issachar, we should be good.

BRB, going to watch Technicolor Dreamcoat again.

We’re at Gul’DEFCON 3 here, people. There are confirmed 3 Gul’Dans at large.

We’re not in Kansas anymore

Gul’gulp

I really hope we see Teron’gor/Gorefiend again. We’ve killed him 3 or 4 times already and keeping up the meme would be great.

The Gul’dans will be multiplying exponentially throughout all the universes.

All will have skulls but some will have their skulls hanging from Illidans belt while others will have them filling out and giving a semi-normal shape to his head.

You’ll be able to tell which Gul’dans have their skulls on Illidans belt.
They’ll look like deflated balloons from the neck up.

I think my head just exploded.

AU was a stupid idea. It should’ve never been done.
