Or aq40 for that matter. Im guessing only the most elite and sweaty will make it to naxx in this 1 year period
AQ for sure, but BWL is generally very popular.

Getting to naxx is easy.
Not having the guild collapse after wiping in naxx and all the good players being recruited by guilds looking to solidify is a bit harder.

the uberleets will prevail.
people tend to get bored / give up around AQ, not BWL 
Even tho naxx lacks mechanics vs more modern WoW raids, it certainly doesnāt forgive when you fail at the few mechanics it does have.
It will certainly break some guilds rapidly on what are some of the easier bosses until they are done wrong.

Im guessing aq40 too. I already planned to get all my gear from pvp so im chillin lol
And because you need more tanks than previous raids, the structure of guilds shifts.
So an average guild - when it becomes clear that major changes are required to kill the harder bosses - may lose their better tanks and players to a better guild that is now looking for 4hm tanks.
Indeed, and warriors who dont understand how to position bosses correctly is a huge problem in so many raids I see (pugs)ā¦ Worse is when both the warriors tanking and the zugs doing damage failing to comprehend parry haste.

You have the like huge part of āclassicā players who are anti-consume, anti-effort, and proclaim one can just click a single button to victory.
This is a conversation from five years ago. anniversary isnāt full of vanilla first timers like classic was.

Youād be surprised how few players even on Era clear naxx that want to.

Only 3 cases where this was mechanically true (1button pve)
- Molten core Frost mage.
- Original TBC 1 bottom hunter macro build (no longer works).
- TBC warlock, just cast shadowbolt.
I was the only Shaman in our MC tonight. Iām Enhance but they canāt field healers so I have to heal. It sucks being pre bis this late into the game as resto because people wanna do Ony with like 20 people and take short cuts and cut corners and have bear main tanks who fall over the moment their flask or rend fall off.
Not to mention on Rag I had to run back and forth from the tank to the melee to refresh his resist totem and give a couple people WF. Going OOM just dropping totems basically, which is why the totem twisting set actually exists on Icyveins, not that I even could twist if I wanted to.
I still donāt want to main Resto though. I donāt like how all the healers all fight over the same ring and trinket the entire game, they fight over Caut band and Rejuv gem literally until Naxx comes out. As Enhance I basically get an entire loot table to pick and choose from with very little competition, especially when AQ hits. AQ has so much phys leather gear. Thereās a lot of crap in BWL that melee donāt SR also. They just SR the axe and DFT the entire time.
Vael has always been a guild killer. Thats a given.
Firemaw & Flamegor require positioning more precise than i feel can be expected out of the majority of Anniversary players.
Chromaggus requires a level of awareness above and beyond what the majority of Anniversary players have demonstrated.
Nef isnt that bad for the most part but its going to boil down to whether your Mages and Priests are paying attention. Thats a big ask for the average Anniversary player.

Yeah Iāve noticed a lot of sleeping at the wheel as Iāve started raiding. I just now got into Anniv recently, so this stuff is catching me by surprise.
You also get ālullsā in AV where itās nothing but lowbies and people in greens queuing up and they just do nothing the entire game.

Tbh Resto Sham parses pressing 1 button.
Even in Retail to this day they are Chain Heal bots, itās hilarious. I killed Gallywix last night and the R Sham was doing like 99999999 healing and it was all Chain Heal on Details, it was comical how long the bar was compared to his other heals. Might as well not even cast anything else that isnāt a CH buffer.
