Wow recommended specs say they want 100gb storage available.
So, that’s about 100,000 megabytes.
Divide that by 1.44, and you get 69444 floppy disks.

1.2 Mb high density 5.25 disk? SL around 50 GB, do the math.
360kb per floppy days is worse. Not to mention, 20MB hard drive!

My favourite was leaving the download going while I went to work to come home to see…
600mb of 240mb downloaded and its still at 70%

Not sure which type of floppy you were asking about, so I figured I would cover the most common options.

I would think the floppy disks would be the soft 5.25’s. We never referred to the 3 1/2 disks as floppy. “So much” data could fit on those. lol

I always referred to the 3.5 as floppies because that’s still what was inside. They really weren’t floppy overall though.
