UPDATE:
So, today I did the remaining 3 Delves in Azj-Kahet and all three of them dropped Cloaks.
I’m starting to think that each day, a slot is chosen and 90% of delves drop that slot and nothing else, which is just asininely stupid design.

FFS, I am so sick of trinkets.
I logged on today to do some leveling on a 74 warrior.
I picked up the 3 Weekly Quests, and I did all of the delves in Hallowfall.
-2 of them dropped a trinket, 1 dropped a ring which was a duplicate of a ring I already had.
-ALL THREE Algari Caches had trinkets in them:
-The First had a Trinket and a Bracer (the only item I got today that was useful to me)
-The Second had two different trinkets.
-The final Algari Cache had TWO OF THE SAME TRINKET.
This is just getting ridiculous. They already made it so that trinkets level up with you, WE DON’T NEED THIS MANY TRINKETS.
Meanwhile, my weapons are still the 467s that I started with back on Level 70 (this was a Remix character).
If I could replace half of those trinkets with weapons, I’d be happy.
And before someone goes “hurr hurr RNG hurr hurr”, this happens on pretty much EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER I’VE LEVELED THUSFAR since S2. Trinket trinket trinket trinket from 90% of all delves and 90% of all Algari Caches.

I can’t wait for S3 when they add even more trinkets to the expansion.
S1 trinkets should have been removed from delves and put on a vendor for undercoin.

you need all the trinkets. but you shouldn’t be limited in the amount of drops you get. you should get all the drops. just every item. just handed to you. because i like you. stranger. lol
How many trinkets do I think you need? All of them

Trinket, bauble, ornament, curio, trifle, novelty, gewgaw, whatnot, bijou, gaud, knickknack, doodah, objet, folderol

To be fair, trinkets are the most unique and fun piece of gear to get, and different trinkets can actually be usuable where different armor pieces are just useless. If we’re going to get an over abundance of any gear piece, trinkets are the best

That would be fine, if my weapons weren’t 60-70 item levels out of date because weapons never drop.
I mean, seriously, we only have 2 trinket slots and I sure as frick don’t need duplicate trinkets, especially not out of the same chest.

I agree somewhat when it comes to Delves trinkets.
Stuff like Drink is nice even if it’s just a mastery boost. Would love to get my hands on a Champion/Hero Dr. Scrapheal though.

I’m having the same issue on this character. I’ve had great luck on my warrior, RNG blesses that character with a generous assortment of stuff but my druid is just absolutely showered with rings and trinkets. When my warrior is 650 ilvl and my druid is 620’ish it shows you how cruel RNG can be

Well designed trinkets can be unique and fun to get.
However, an awful lot of current trinkets suck and are garbage.
Not to mention at some point (which IMO we have far surpassed), even if they are all well designed, there comes a point were they are just bloating out the loot tables to the exclusion of all other slots.
They need to give a handful of merchants that require X, Y, Z trinkets we can exchange for mounts 
Similar as to what they had for the Otter mounts in Dragonflight with the rings.
It’d at least make them a bit more acceptable … Just a bit, but you know. lol

I wouldn’t have a problem with that if it weren’t the current situation where like 2 are BiS by a mile for almost everyone, 4 that were decent, and 30 that sucked.
Nothing worse then getting a hero piece at the beginning of the week and it happens to be a season one trinket. Sometimes I just hate this game and Blizzards lack of creativity, and or lazy content creation.

Loot pool needed filling to draw out gear acquisition, they went with trinkets, all the trinkets.
