Was just curious since there are so many ways to play and gear druids, do you play more than one to focus on different aspects of the class?
Just the one. The time sink involved in gathering reputations, covenants, legendary unlocks, conduits, raider[dot]io, and pvp rating are so bad that I could never justify spending time on a second toon of the same class. Hell, it affects my desire to alt at all. I hit 1800 in 2s with a holy pally in the first 3 season of SL before maxing his renown. I hit 1800 in 2s on a discipline priest last season and never had anything beyond vendor conduits. Life is too short to chase conduits on pvp alts.
That said, there’s a dude in my guild that has multiple geared druids just to pvp in different brackets with. But he also had garbage conduits until he was ready for his glad push.
The time sink is real. Real bad.
Ty. If DF proves more alt friendly do you think you would, or is it a waste to you?
So, an alt druid would be a secondary priority to an alt of another class. Also, the gear isn’t completely siloed and can be used in multiple play styles (even if a little sub-optimally). Caster trinkets are good for M+ resto if you wanna pump some damage. The pvp 1-min clicky is good for many different specs and situations. Secondary stat distributions are also less of a silo right now because of how much value you can get out the right trinkets.
Once upon a time, I was considering making a horde druid to play with friends on the Red Team, but that’s a moot point now.
In a world where I get to play waaaaay more than I play now, I suppose I would get an alt on horde side to get missing reputations/achievements/transmogs and my main class is druid, so the alt would be a druid.
I used to play a plethora, in fact I had 2 Night Elves, 1 Tauren, 1 Highmountain Tauren, Kul’Tiran, and a Worgen to name a few, I’m sure I had more tbh.
But given Blizzard’s lack of emphasis on the class, I play only one now-a-days and spread my time playing other more well designed classes unfortunately because that’s the only way I can find enjoyment in the game anymore.
Just 1. I’ve had more then one, alts on other realms. But I only played one at a time.
Just 1, it’s all the time I have for lol.
5 accounts and I have atleast… 11 druids? I think?
Doesn’t mean they are geared though I collect xmogs
- One druid that’s my main where I try to push some arena rating or mythics if friends are back in the game. And another to just mess around with low rated arena and friend’s alts.
I play one, i dont understand the point of playing more druids. Playing m9re would just require more time investment too get into the content i want too play.
I play 2.
My main one here has always been my main. I enjoy feral a lot and hence, he has stayed that way.
My second one, a resto/balance one to act as a resource gatherer and to play the other half of druid on occasion. Mostly, I have just healed.
There is a third that I play on Classic, since it is almost identical in what I do, I am not certain if I would claim it as a separate one or not.
just 1
i play Necrocat, Fae Cat, Bear and Resto :3
3- all ally and ferals
I have 3.
Originally one for tanking, one for resto, and one for pvp feral.
Then they fixed convenant swapping and I went back to 2. I still maintain a pvp feral and a pve guardian/resto. That’s partly gear, partly guilds.
Just one. I tried a 2nd on briefly so I could go 2 specs on each, but meh.
One Horde and one Alliance for farming faction specific items.
Back in MOP when i played wow more i played a druid on ally and horde. But since legion i dont play wow retail. Mostly just leveled him to max in BFA and shadowlands did like half a season of PVP and quit.
