Favorite classes = lots. Sometimes dupes of race / class. Like, 2 dwarf hunters, 2 night elf hunters, etc.
Otherwise I do try and spread things around. My horde representation is pretty light but I have specific ones I think are iconic / cool. Like my undead warlock or my maghar hunter. And I might have a few of the little furry fox people … for reasons.

I mean, it’s a matter of opinion, and we all have different ones.
Personally I have a lot of WW monks, BM hunters, mages, warriors, DKs and rogues, those are the ones I like to play the most.

Ive got one of each class to lvl cap, I main human pally and orc monk( can tank, heal and dps) and the alts are just some flavor that I enjoy, for example I made tauren warrior for those big 2handers, and a blood dk to annoy people in bgs lol
If you have the time, do one of each class in each faction.
If you have no time, so what i do and mainly play one toon while slowly climbing the others to level cap for the inevitable holiday farming.

I like this druid and my vulp hunter way more than anything else. I think maybe i should focus on them.
Every race gets 1 armor type each so I dont have more than 4 each, mostly.
Night Elf = Blood Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Feral Druid, Shadow Priest
Draenei = Protection Paladin, Elemental Shaman, Monk, Fire Mage
Worgen = 2h Fury Warrior, Survival Hunter, Balance Druid, Destruction Warlock
Human = Retribution Paladin, Marksman Hunter, Combat Rogue
Void Elf = Frost Death Knight, Assassin Rogue, Affliction Warlock
LF Draenei = Arms Warrior, Discipline Priest
Dracthyr = 1h Fury Warrior, Beast Master Hunter, Subtlety Rogue, Demonology Warlock, Evoker
Miscellaneous = Kul’Tiran Brewmaster Monk, Pandaren Enhance Shaman, Pandaren Frost Mage (race changed to Dracthyr).
And that is just the Alliance side.
I mostly play Alliance but do have several Horde characters. I like pretty all the Alliance races but have more night elves than other races. I have a night elf of every class that can be night elf. I play mage as my main, but I also enjoy almost every class and collecting transmog for my alts. Besides mage, I play paladin and druid the most with shaman closely behind. I’ve also learned to love warlocks. At 80, I have a night elf death knight, night elf demon hunter, night elf druid, dracthyr evoker, void elf hunter, void elf mage, night elf monk, human paladin, night elf priest, night elf rogue, draenei shaman, gnome and nightborne warlocks, and dwarf and gnome warriors. I also have above 70 but not yet 80 a dwarf hunter, night elf hunter, blood elf mage, and dwarf paladin. I really enjoy leveling alts.
