How many addons have you accumulated?

I started out with just a handful of ‘quality of life’ addons to make WoW a little smoother and to clean up the interface. Postal, BadBoySpam, DBM, ChatTabDockLock, HHTD, KingKong, Immersion, Hekili, TomTom, etc…

Today I checked and I have accumulated 66 addons total. Totally shocked me.

Now I’m wondering about the rest of you… How many do you have? Are there any you can’t you live without?

I have a dozen or so… maybe 15 total.

Can’t live without them though. Especially Bartender, Auctionator, WIM, etc…

Many. I add them but never seem to delete them

I have like 20. I can’t play without elvui, bigwigs and weakaura, they’re the most important for me. The rest are optional.

I’ve completely redone most aspects of the UI. I have 95 folders within my Addons directory.

The main package I use is RealUI from Wowinterface.com.

Just DBM and Recount, about the same number of add-ons as I’ve added to my cell phone. This geezer isn’t big on complicating things. :slight_smile:

Altoholic.
Remove Gryphons.
Auctioneer.
Recount.
DBM.
Rematch.
and a bunch that are per class/spec.

I really should clean out some old ones… I do this also

Not counting like the little bits and bobs that belong to a parent addon that all get installed together, I usually have like 4 or 5.

218 installed.

But that number is a little inflated to having both DBM and BigWigs and Handynotes all installed. Because those three really have a ton of separate add ons all that get installed with it.

I have a bunch of add ons I don’t regularly use, but like having available. For example, while I dont heal often I have both Healbot and Vuhdo. Just so I can have both on hand to see which I like at any particular time.

oh wow… you take the cake by far. Curious, how many MB does 218 addons use in-game? My 66 addons regularly use around 100MB and I’ve been told that 100MB is the cut off point before gameplay is compromised???

Pretty much every addon I have is for some raid function. Except the one that’s for dungeons.

TradeSkillMaster alone is 100mb, and details is 50mb for me right now.

My total is at 500mb, but I stay at around 70-90 fps in open world. Usually at a 8 on graphics quality setting. I lower it for raids.

I probably have some redundant ones I don’t need. But I am sorta in a “if its not breaking anything, not gonna worry about it” mode right now.

Every couple months I delete several addons that I never use. I use these all the time:

  • Auctionator and Auctioneer
  • Postal
  • Bagsync
  • Blizzmove
  • DejaCharacterStats
  • DialogKey
  • HideTalkingHead, HideTalentAlert
  • Sexymap (bigger minimap)
  • Dcoords
  • EasyScrap

As you can see, I don’t use anything that helps me in combat. Not even deadbossmods (or whatever it’s called). I just use stuff to make mailing, auctioning and questing easier and quicker.

i could probably whittle them down with weakauras buuuuuut why have less when you can have more? so… lots. i have lots. and my UI is spectacular. :wink:

who else agrees that bagnon really should be incorporated into wow by now…?

31 myself. Most of mine are either related to making the UI easier to read / get certain bits of information, or are RP related.

I have roughly 10 to 11 I use. Never have used anymore then that.
