How many addons do yall use

I’m a minimalist myself. All I have is DBM and Details. And I’m usually the healer so I’m rarely even looking at the meters.

Basically just GTFO to scream at me when I’m standing in something.

I’ve cut it down to 5 total. From there I could go down to 2 if I really felt like it.

Weak aura, elvui, little wigs and mythic dungeon tools., edit: plater

One total

Not many.

MogIt
Hide Gryphon
Bagnon
DBM
TomTom
HandyNotes during certain holiday events.

I think that’s it.

Too many to count.

There are the standards. ElvUI. weak auras. Details. Grid2.

There are the more rarely used ones. Tomtom. Rematch. Time of teleportation. Etc. most fall in here. Not a major add on but something that brings major quality of life to a specific segment of the game.

You can actually cut Hide Gryphon from the list in Retail. They made it an option in edit mode to hide the gryphon/wyvern art from the action bars.

Though I have a number of add-ons…
DBM for timers.
Narcissus for transmog and photo stuff.
TomTom for coordinates.
Handy Notes for rare/treasure info.
Details for usual Details things.
TRP3 for RP things.
Elephant for RP things and for general chat log management.
Emote Extender also for RP things, even if it breaks and doesn’t let me link mounts or DF crafted gear anymore.
Raider.io for pugging.
WeakAuras just for silly meme eating thing since I don’t need to track Spoils anymore.

dbm, details, healbot, raiderio

I use at least 50 addons. Although I could probably get by with 10, there are a lot of event or farm-specific addons I use depending on what I’m doing.

I have like 4-5.

I HAve battleground enemies, bag sync for an alt army, rare finder, RAider IO, Auctionator to show percentage value on gear increases, and TOMTOM for the GPS coordinates.

I didn’t have all that many addons, but Blizzard broke most of them. I took that as a sign they don’t want casuals even to attempt to play the game at a level that requires addons that may no longer exist.

I currently use 68.

Yeah I know but for some reason I still wanted the add on and now I can’t remember why.

I mean, I remember thinking “wooo now I can get rid of this” but I wanna say the hide function wasn’t good enough for some reason.

Same thing happened with Bagnon. I thought I was going to be able to get rid of it until their new bag thing went live and it turned out it sucked.

I use quite a few for various things. Some of them are always used while others I turn on only when I’m doing specific things. I still need to finish some things up though.

  • ElvUI - Creates a true minimal UI and in a style I like.

  • AddOnSkins - Skin some of the UI elements ElvUI doesn’t.

  • Class Font Color - Custom addon I made to get rid of the yellow text in game and replace it all with class color fonts instead.

  • ATT - The addon that tells you how many things you still need to do to finish the game.

  • Grail/Wholly -Shows you the location of every quest which helps when you are trying to finish everything.

  • HandyNotes - Find treasures or anything else really.

  • Rarity/RareScanner - Only used when I’m actively looking to clear out the rest of transmogs etc in a zone.

  • SavedInstances - Track how many times I’ve killed things and locks on alts.

  • Battle Pet Completionist - marks the map for all battle pets.

  • Rematch - Complete pet UI overhaul.

  • Pet Battle Scripts - Easy of use once you complete a pet battle the first time.

  • NugMiniPet - Always have a favorite pet out.

  • Group Finder Flags - Make sure I don’t join OCE groups because of latency issues.

  • Skada - DPS Meter

  • BugGrabber/BugSack

  • DBM

  • WeakAuras

  • RaiderIO

  • MRT - Quick click for ready checks, pull timers and markers as well as making sure people have flasks and food.

Moo!
