Do you think it will go under 200k?
yes I think
players buy token a lot before the new expansions start and that makes WoW currency down fast… and it is not going up till a couple month past through my previous experiences.
i hope it gets over 300K soon, I was about to drop $100 on 5 tokens but not at this price
I think it’s like a month after launch its the lowest point, but I’m wondering what that will be. I think in DF it went down quite a bit. Down around 140k if I’m remembering correctly.
probably… no one knows…
it just depend on how many people actually buys…
it could be earlier you are right.
current Netflix theory is that she’ll end up Queen of Stormwind.
Are you talking about the token hot chick?
I hope it’ll go under 200k but I wouldn’t bet on it. It’s interesting to watch, though.
It depends on how cheap stuff gets. In DF prices crashed really hard and fast due to botting. However, Blizz has made rank 3 mats more rare. Tailors can only get cloth now too. The new engineer mount is expensive too.
The higher gold price of goods usually means people need more gold. More tokens being brought with cash means lower gold cost.
They could go as low as 150k. While not as good as BFA token which was 118k at the end of expansion is still better then 400k.
Not low enough. I only bought game time if they got to around 100k. They didn’t get that low with Dragonflight, and I don’t think they will this time. It’s why I caved and bought the 1 year of game time thing since I can’t afford 200k for 1 month of play
Thanks for outing yourself.
Not much below 200k no (190k I could see very briefly, 170k no). Its dips are higher every expac with the general trend of devaluation of gold and gold inflation.
Best to buy them now, it’s only going to go down from here for months. So either do it now while it’s still sort of high or be willing to wait until probably anywhere from December to late January or February (remember kids get money and gift cards for Christmas and will spend them on getting gold so Christmas will extend the post-expac drop, adults do this too, gifting themselves the right to buy in-game currency or gift cards, etc).
You’ll be waiting a while.
A week ago, more people were buying up tokens for sub time / bnet balance while fewer were selling to convert cash to gold given it was the end of the season / xpac.
At the start of the xpac, it is always the other way around, lots of people selling tokens for gold to buy mats, gear, carries, whatever while fewer are buying them.
A low token gold price is a sign of a healthy in-game economy because it means people are using their gold and not hoarding it.
Blizz needs to figure out how to keep the economy going after people get done with raiding.
And it makes sense people use it now, to buy up materials to level their crafts.
I saw they were about 310k. Glad I bought one then instead of now, lol
The gold is only shifting hands at the end of the day. When the token price is low it means that there are a lot of people out there willing to spend real money to buy in-game gold. To me that’s kind of twisted in a mmo to begin with.
I think we may have reached a point where it’s steadily lowering. I don’t think it’ll hit 300k in a while again. Right now it’s 249,812. I’m going to guess and say just under 200k. Like 190 it’ll bottom out a bit, but it’s moving pretty quick, maybe it goes lower.
I remember when I was able to buy tokens on the AH for 30-40k… I miss those days
yeah, no doubt its gonna dive.
I dont buy tokens much…dont need the gold, but I thought the wife needed some so I bought it when it was 308k+.
Turns out she had 250k just sitting in her guild bank lol.
