I don’t know, they always have a lot of games played though too so you’d think it would balance to 50/50 per MMR rules but it just doesn’t. My best guess is they literally just play with anyone and play a lot because they’re “having fun.”
But fun, in my shadowlands??? I’m not sure my hypothesis can hold up to such a claim…

Win/loss does matter wtf lol. It’s usually an indicator of what you are getting yourself into. People with bad wr just generally mean they are struggling. Having at least 40% wr is fine but any lower is exceptionally bad.

having a 40% w/l ratio is NOT FINE lol! I avoid those players like the plague.

I mean it really depends on what rating they are at. People who are 40% at around1500 are just bad but people with 40% who are above 2k have potential but have trouble identifying what to do. At least from my experience.

We know, you only like to queue with people who are higher than you so you can get carried.

if anyone is worried about your win/loss you dont want to play with them anyway. That’s worse than the cringe I do when I look for RBG groups and they say “link vers”

You avoid queuing like it’s the plague also once you hit that 2100.

My buddy hit lvl60 on a new toon, lost A LOT of games conquest farming then shot up to 2100 quickly after they were mostly conquest geared and could upgrade their gear.
As someone above said, people avoiding you because of W/L are probably doing you a favor. They probably aren’t very much fun to play with.

Having a good W/L is sort of just a flex, but a bad one doesn’t matter if you can play well

I look at W/L. Mainly for RBGs, but also for 2s. 3s not as much, but for those two brackets I weigh it more. It’s more so just a piece of a big picture metric. For the most part it has no bearing on higher CR matches around like 2400+ it is basically a nothingburger of a metric, but when I look for alt queues yeah, it matters.
For instance, let’s say I’m queueing 2100cr on an alt in 2s, they have 2121cr at a 54% win rate around 725 games played. They got their duelist on May 10 of this year and they play, let’s say for the sake of this argument a BM hunter.
Well, then I have to assume that this person wasn’t good enough to get 2100 in the pre-season as MM or survival and had to rely on BM in 2s to get duelist. Then I see 1611cr in 3s albeit with a 56% win rate, which wouldn’t be terrible if they weren’t already 500 games deep into the season. At such a high amount of games played they should be higher. So I decline this person because the metrics just don’t add up to be a good player. The metrics for this player add up to be someone who likely got carried by their spec for a few games in 2s. Given that it is a BM hunter hardstuck at 2100 I know that I could get just about any BM hunter at this rating that will perform at mediocre levels and suffice, but that’s not what I want. I want someone who will use CDs effectively and be a good player, because that’s more enjoyable to me than watching some hunter miss every trap, never trap off intim, rando feign death, etc.

Correction. There’s NO ONE to queue with on alliance side unless I just want to tank all my rating.

This is actually true. You should make a horde toon for your 2400 push

So like pointed out before, you’re sitting waiting on someone higher rated to queue with?
And, you care about 2s rating when you’re already geared? That’s kinda hilarious

Not totally true. I see a lot of queues from around my alliance toons rating to his.
Yesterday I seen a few around 2kcr queuing but I’m guessing if it isn’t someone 2.2 or higher he won’t queue.
He hasn’t queued a 2s game since hitting that 2.1

I haven’t qued on my ally toon in a week or two so you may be right. I think it is easier finding groups on horde though
But yeah there’s no reason to sit rating at 2.1 if you’re fully geared lol

Yeah, way easier to queue on horde but for his rating there are still queues on the alliance side. He’s just sitting it.
