How long until Dracthyr can be other classes?

How long until Dracthyr can be other classes? I love the Dracthyr and Evoker has some flashy abilities but I think it needs some work and I’d rather play other classes.

dracthyr? probably never.

now when will they add drakonids that fill that niche, that’s the real question.

My bets are on a long time or never. But maybe they can surprise us.

Either more classes or more visage forms-- would be considered Evokers for other races.

I want more specs based around the the aspects. The reason we dont have a tank spec is cause there’s no black aspect yet.

Next expansion most likely now that they have been exposed to other races, cultures, allies, and classes. At most it will only be the basic 5 warrior, hunter, rogue, mage, and priest.

Given how barebones Devastation is as a spec they probably have no idea on what to do for a Tank spec.

For a spec called Devastation it leaves much to be desired.

And I think they are going to double down on Dracthyr just being Dragon Mages with the kind of build they have. Their bodies are so frail looking.

I think this thread touched on most of the main problems with the race as long as someone said when are we going to get the male version of dracthur.

Don’t think they will be any classes added to them in the future. Let me try and find a link to it, but it was mentioned there is no plans on adding any more classes to Dracthyr.

Weird way to take it considering gnomes and female blood/void elves dont look like they could really be a tank. Blizz doesnt really care about that, imo.

All the other races wear armor. Dracthyr technically only wear what customization allows for.

I think if they were thinking about Tanks they wouldn’t relegate Black Dragons to CC effects and Green Dragons to just healing when they are prominent users of Acid Breath for a potential DoT spec on it’s own.

I would have preferred 5 different specs for each Flight instead of a mishmash of all 5.

However if ease of use for Dracthyr is what they are aiming for I don’t think we are gonna see much of anything else.

Dracthyr as a race is the first example WoW class as a race limited to a single class.

Druids and Demon Hunters were close but you have races that can be other classes as well. Not so with Dracs.

I do think there is some disappointment with the Dragon Race not having a Tank option.

I’d definitely make a Dracthyr Druid. Think of all the cool dragon forms! Flight Form would just use the WINGS we already have.

Now I really want a Dracthyr DH.
