Hypothetically speaking, let’s say I just wanted to quest. No instances. With a 55% xp boost from heirlooms along with only questing with rested XP active, about how long do you think it will take to go up one level? More specifically, how long do you think it would take to get from 119 to 120? Has anyone ever timed it before?
EDIT: Currently, it takes me roughly 30-45 minutes without rested XP to level only doing quests. Most of that is travel time since I’m questing in Outland.
Thanks for the info! It sounds like that extra ring I’m looking for may not be worth it then. Might as well just stick with the Ghostly ring and not worry about getting a second one
Also, thank you for the valuable information Doomaxe! That gives me hope!
If you consider the quests during an incursion as questing then that’s super fast. I have a couple alts I ONLY do those. With heirlooms, exp potion, a 5% gem socketed, and the incursion buff up from the previous one, it gets you about 250k-300k experience depending on how much stuff you kill while doing them.
With no heirloom or rested xp, in a party of 2, we both hit 120 from 119 in about 22 minutes. Loving the mount speed bonus after flight point landing. Makes traveling a breeze. Also so does path of frost.
I was about an hour a level with my rogue but not overly aggressive due to leveling herb and alch. There was one or two levels were I was more focused and it was closer to 30 to 45ish minutes.
Definitely like 30 minutes, but note that Heirlooms for 110-120 suck. You feel very weak/underpowered, compared to the Azerite armor that you can wear. Many people choose to create two gear sets and swap to Heirlooms to hand in quests, and Azerite to kill stuff.
Depends on the level. The scaling gets pretty weird after 116 or 117 (maybe especially if using 'looms) and it gets far more difficult to pull a lot of mobs.
110-117 for me was maybe 45m a level and 117-120 was maybe 75m a level.
