So I’m coming back to the game with a new toon and was wondering, do you guys think it’s possible to finish all my covenant rewards before the next expansion releases? Also idk what else there is to do other than that that takes time and also gives appearance rewards in SL, maybe someone could brief me
Absolutely. Anima rains from the sky ever since 9.1

Depends on what you mean by “finish all covenant reward”. If you mean get every single cosmetic thing from all four covenants for all four armor types… you could probably do it, but it’s gonna take some serious grinding.
Personally I plan to focus on Necrolords, as their Unity set is one that will be much easier to get while the expansion is still active and people are sharing where they find it. Everything else will be easily soloable and grindable later.
Short answer: Yes, you can, given how long it took for the current expansion to release. And if you move on to Korthia and Zereth Mortis, anima will flow making it easier to get what you need/want.
That being said, be sure to do your daily chests/quest for the Grateful Offerings. I just did them daily as part of what I did and had no trouble to rack them up, but I am a plodding player. Others find it grindy. Anima and Grateful offerings are what you need for covenant stuff. For Korthia appearance stuff, Death’s advance rep, stygia and scholars are where you need to be.
Zereth Mortis is – in some ways a different sort of thing and can be good for anima but brings its own challenges.
Plenty of time, even more so if you don’t do instanced content that requires you to min max your covenant.
I’d be shocked if the new xpac drops before summer of next year.
You have at least a full year until the next expansion. There’s all the time in the world

Finishing one covenant really isn’t finishing the game given the context of things being account-wide.
Done on one character would be
- all 4 covenants at renown 80
- all 4 9.0 covenant campaigns being done
- 9.1 campaign done (by extension unlocking 2 more dailies and grapple in korthia)
- 9.2 campaign done (not possible right now)
- exalted rep for all factions
- 3-3-3-5 for the 4 covenant sanctums
- all other story progression for killing raid bosses (not skips) as well
Story-wise and “feature unlock” aspect of the game you’ll be done then. Not counting gear/pvp rating or conduit levels which are ambiguous and will be disabled/restricted in post 9.X content along with legendaries. With the above you’ll have unfettered access to buying things from covenants with anima and doing callings in any covenant will net you grateful offerings (provided you distribute anima to each of the 6 areas plus reinforce as well).
For just one covenant, yeah, you should have plenty of time.
