Major characters have always been special snowflakes who get to effectively multiclass.
The real insult was the Priest class hall. Paladins get the most famous church in the world as their class hall. Yours? An ugly Unitarian church, associated with nothing recognizable from Warcraft, hidden in a pocket dimension. Also your dagger GF leaves you to become the villainess.

That is always going to be the problem with a character pledged to healing and non violence. Eventually the external forces will overwhelm them and force them to react.

This is the priest villan arc that brings them back into the limelight!
Priests come back looking like theyre on steroids, start wearing plate, and become titan grip paladins!

Thats what im saying. He was more iconic to WoW than WoW itself.
Now he doesnt even get put in the credits. Maybe once he finds that axe he threw away

Wait until you find out Thrall is basically all three Shaman specs in one, and that Doomhammer was a Warrior’s weapon originally (Orgrim Doomhammer + his family/ancestors).
How long till priests are deleted?
