above 2k as a DPS player?
Prob depends on your class/spec. Id imagine people running rmx or dh trains sit in que less time than say a hunter
I actually havent had much of a issue at like 1800+ for 2s anyways, 3s as a hunter is a aids waittime mainly why i dont play 3s atm. If i cant play i just log on my healer and always get games.
ya this is what i was thinking in regards to my alt - do i want to try a dps alt or stick with healer just for fast easy queues
If you play something meta you will def have an easier time getting ques. If you dont have time to waste in lfg and no friends to que with to get to about 1800-2k my opinion would be stay healer.
If you play something that makes games hard, like Aff or Enh, you could wait awhile. Most specs are viable and have comps so wait times aren’t bad.
That’s the reason why I never get to dps. To impatient and know healer queues are super fast
Was actually thinking of trying disc/sp = problem is I hate healing in PVE so I would have to SP and I am not sure if it is viable = also SP in pvp seems like something that requires smart partners
Extremely hard to find ppl as ele. So much so I stopped really looking on that char
Very easy as DK/lock in the 2100-2200 range
I will sit a while as Ret unless I honeypot them with a listing of my mediocre achievements and true but misleading max ilvl in the description. To cap last week I had to play with healers who were 1900 cr and after 1 loss 3 of them immediately booted me from group even though I was almost 2.2k. This week I actually just played with a Warrior friend who was 1900 and i healed him to cap.
1-3 hours most the time as ele.
Even applying to groups 100-150cr lower they decline and say they don’t want to play with ele.
When pushing 2400 in 2s I’d legit apply to healers at 2100 as 2350cr and get declined non stop lol
The issue is often the specs are not as bad as people’s perception of them.
Like they would rather cycle through 10 different destros that they just call awful and don’t realize often they are the ones that aren’t performing well.
LFG is a sheet show and so many players don’t actually understand the variables that went into play to get their ratings/ achievements which is why you will see every season there will be “glads” or “2600 exp” players stuck at lower ratings.
Very rarely will you find people that just stick it out and push and improve together instead of disposing of someone as a scapegoat and repeating the cycle.
A good transmog helps, for reasons. (or just play “meta”)
As a warrior it could take hours. I farm zinathid in the meantime. Made 50k in flasks.
Depends how you sell yourself and what your goals are.
I will put “hot local singles in your area” and rating in the note and will form groups in like 5-10 mins
I dont wait hours maybe 45 mins tops swapping between applying to grps and making grps
But then again I just kinda play with anyone just to play
As an hpal at 2k. What is a wait time?
Hpals pretty sought after cuz rmpalla , MLPalla , jungle
Can prolly fill a team in 10-20 mins tops
Been trying to play kfc but good hunters are hard to find. Rmpala isnt something i run. No fun in know we can do whatever and still win. Ebola cleave is definitely interesting.
ya perception is big, I bet DH’s do not sit long in a queue
Depends on the bracket honestly. For a bit I was the highest rbg ret in the world at 2140 cr (omegalul) and I would sign up to 1800 groups and not get in. In 2s on my alt ret I either get instant ques if I advertise my 450 cut of skill. In 3s I get instantly declined really.
Also when I tried to play enhance last season (I like playing bad classes) I would never get in groups.
true i usually just tell people my cr even if it’s like 400 higher than theres cus i just wanna q mannn. feels bad listing off that you’re 2700 xp to people just trying to chill and have fun
