Started coming by every now and then few days ago. Sat there for 2 hours last night while watching a movie, glancing over every few mins to hit /target, and man, there were always multiple people around. Is there a quest that takes place there, or are we all just spamming our macro and praying? Hope I get it before phase 2… This is where high pop servers really shine 
The cancerous alliance guild on Stalagg has it locked down and are selling it. They are guarding it from any horde that try to get it and have horde on the payroll to keep any alliance from getting it.

Gave up after 2 days straight, only stopping to sleep. I’ll never get it.
Wow, That sucks! I hope a horde sneaks in and ninjas the kill before they can react lol.
I’m not really trying for it in Classic. I did get it back in Vanilla. Not a lot of people knew about it back then so it wasn’t heavily camped. I corpse hopped a level 1 night elf there and logged on to him often to check and see if the rare was up and was able to get it pretty easily that way. It took me a few days of doing that to get it.

Definitely possible but they have people who’s job it is to scout as soon as the spawn is available, same group of spergs that has ungoro on lockdown.
I go there every now and again since im lvl 40 to try and get lucky
I dont really camp the spot since you could literally stay there for hours and bust…
I managed to find him once! Tagged him as well, but he didnt drop T.T sad times
not worth camping it on a high pop server i just look rq every now and then early in the morning before work
Yeah, I’m basically going to keep this one here while I level an alt, log in every now and then to check over the next few weeks or something. Did it quick before work this morning and there was a level 2 sitting there right next to me. I don’t think having a low level alt will accomplish much for him/her considering it’ll probably take 10-15 min. for their main to get there, way too late considering the traffic in that area…
I love Classic, I really do. But Tidal Charm is a good example of something that is very poorly designed.
It creates toxic gameplay sessions, it encourages and rewards anti-play. Sure, its super powerful and worth the effort, but you’ll hate the time you spend on it, and not in some rewarding way. It encourages players to sit in one spot, play another game while periodically checking. Not do other things, just sit and wait.
I’d rather the spawn rate be 30 to 45 minutes at 1% drop, rather than 36-48 hours at 50% drop. This would still be a long, tough experience, but at least the spot would be busy—there would be reason to stay there, to PVP there.

honestly, its a great item, so great that I never cared to go for it. I just dont find the effort worth it. For those that farm it, I salute you though, you have more dedication then I do.
Meh, its good but i don’t think im going to put any serious effort into getting it, its a 30 min cooldown, ive gotten by fine without such a crutch and its not going to make or break my viability in pvp to have a cheesy range stun once every 30 mins, grenades are good enough
Can you imagine how much it would sell for if it was a boe though lol? And how much harder it would be to get?

Seems like a huge waste of time to me. Never even knew it existed until a couple weeks ago. Maybe if I had known about it before everyone else did I would’ve tried but now, it’s hopeless.
I suppose it’s a waste from a time perspective or if you don’t pvp, but when phase 2 hits on pvp servers, it will come in handy pretty much every time the cooldown is available if you’re out in the world.
Prince was randomly up as I was doing the quests in the area, got it 1/1 totally by accident (don’t kill me)
