I am currently working on pathfinder after procrastinating forever. My lowest rep at the moment is Mechagon, which I just started (still at Neutral).
How many weeks do you reckon will it take me to get Pathfinder?
No more than 2 weeks for Mechagon rep as long as you are doing it daily.

It took me between 2-3 weeks of casual play to get Pathfinder Part 2. As Meritha said, do your Mech dailies, and you should be there in no time 
It took me maybe three horrible weeks after re-subbing in mid July after an 8 month break.
With flying I find I almost enjoy rep grinds now, though. I’m back to doing all the emissaries. Game changer.
I had path 2 done before I got the first one done. It was that damn tortollan rep, god I hate those quests.
Two or Three weeks for me.
Have friends or guildmates that have flying to help you out. Grind is a lot less of a hassle if someone can fly you to the location so your not fighting through the endless about of trash mobs.
About 11 days if I recall correctly.
If your day is free to spend on wow everyday, then 2-3 weeks
If you have part 1 on one character already, can you do part 2 with a second character and still achieve same result, or do you need to get both part 1 and part 2 with the same character?

The time between completing part 1 and part 2 was 10 months .
Once we completed part 1 we should of gotten flying for Zandalar and Kultiras .
Part 2 should of been to get flying for Nazjatar and Mechagon .
There was no need to keep us grounded so long in the initial zones so long with their we want you to see the content first. By the time we got part 1 we saw all the areas of the maps and we did all the quests to become lore master for the expansion so there was no content to see outside of WQs . Most of the WQs were repeats of regular quests we already did while leveling.
A week and the half for me. You hit every WQ in Nazjatar and boss pet fights dose give you a quests for reps. Mech quests does give a ton of rep.
The funny thing is that essence grinds are SO MUCH worse than pathfinders… I got flying weeks before Null Barrier rank 3. And, even worse, I want null barrier on a 2nd tank and… gotta grind again.
I wish pathfinder model was in place for essences.
I am avoiding it in the hope that, somehow, i magically get pathfinder 2 by living vicariously through others. So far, no…has not helped.
i do have pathfinder 1, though…i have that going for me…which is nice.
Part 1- looking at my achieves, it took me 6 weeks? Sept 22 I had it. I did waffle a bit at the start, couldn’t decide a main.
Part 2 - just looked…and I thought it had taken me 12 days, but no, it took me exactly 2 weeks. Not bad really.
^^^ this pain right here - this is the true joy of grinding it out. And once you get it on the first one you know for sure that it’s absolutely worth getting. So you have to get it on all your tanks.

Thanks guys. Will probably take me longer than 2 weeks because I’m still a bit behind on Tortollan rep, too. But at least I know it won’t take me months!
