It’s real simple, Blizzard owns the game and whatever vision they have for SV is the correct vision whether you like it or not. Only children tell people that their opinions are wrong when it’s all based on personal preference of liking melee or ranged SV. Quit acting like a petulant child.

Got it. So I take it you are in favor of no flying in WoW, and also no Classic servers? Or at least would approve since that was Blizard’s vision. We must accept thier vision no matter what? It took feedback from the community to convince Blizz they were ‘wrong’.

You’re missing the entire point… If you want to keep arguing about this feel free. Scream from the rafters that you want ranged SV back. However, you can’t exactly tell someone who likes melee SV their opinion is wrong because Blizz’s current vision is for SV to be melee.
First, only a toddler tells someone their opinion is wrong since opinions are subjective. Second, if you are going to act like a child and tell someone their opinion is wrong, it’s foolish to do so when the company that owns the intellectual property agrees with them.

I think you should re-read your first sentence and take that to heart for yourself. These forums are for general feedback, discussion, and help. We all pay for this game and if there’s a way to try to get the class more like what we want, even if it falls on deaf ears, we can and will post about it.
For all, I enjoy MSV, but I really miss RSV. Here’s to hoping blizzard can do something about bringing it back somehow and to NO 6 sec pet rez in shadowlands!

I don’t need to re-read it, because if you believed what you just posted you would have targeted this response at the person in the thread telling people their opinions are factually wrong.
Even subjective opinions can be objectively wrong and/or misinformed. In this case, said paladin did not like the hunter class because all 3 specs were basically the same and that RSV was some kind of weird thing between BM and MM.
These “opinions” are misinformed at best and objectively wrong at worst. Saying BM, MM, and RSV were essentially the same is objectively wrong, no matter when in WoW’s history you look. Saying RSV is some weird thing between BM and MM is objectively wrong.
These may be their subjective opinion, but they’re objectively wrong opinions because they are provably wrong.

I wouldn’t say so. Blizzard has completely changed melee SV to be some sort of melee/range hybrid after all. If anything they are working it back to ranged.
By the way everyone this Fizben guy is Darkeforge. He is using a different account to conceal his achievement points so that we wouldn’t know it is him.
Don’t forget Cross Realm Zones! Ya, you know that realm community that you used to find in WoW? Well that wasn’t healthy for the game and was in fact bad design. We know that’s true because Blizzard removed it and everything Blizzard does must be correct.

Yes, in Darkforge-inese vacation refers to the brief period of time where you don’t post on the forums, in the attempt to make people forget about you somewhat before you return on a different character to continue trolling the forums and deriding anyone who wants the game to improve.
I mean, like, we know you already did this once when you switched to an alt that had identical achievement points and was on the same realm. You acted the same way then, calling me names for calling you out on it. Quickly switching back to this account after I called you out this time only serves as further proof that that is what you are doing.
How about this: instead of being a dishonest liar, stay on one account all the time so that people can form an opinion about you and your posting practices. It’s just so cowardly to change accounts because you want to wipe your slate clean, only to go back to doing the same exact things as you did before. You even deleted your posts to try to hide the fact that you did this. I will say it again: cowardly.

Normally, one would think that when Blizzard changes their class in a way they dislike, they either keep playing it, or play something else (like the rest of the community). The degree of entitlement required to tell someone they didn’t experience the game the correct way to have an opinion is mind-boggling. It’s like 2h frost all over again but instead everyone’s going through their rebellious streak.

Except, Mythic raiding doesnt represent all raiders.
Arena / RBG doesnt represent all pvpers.
Those that do that content have different mindset/focus.
Yep… we pay to be allowed to play the game, nothing in it belong to us.
Im in favor of no flying, for same reason most likely. That killed alot.
But he isnt saying we cant be against a change or suggest not to… however the decision remains theirs in the end.

Because nobody really wants this spec. Melee SV can DIAF if it means I will have to wait for another expansion to get my main spec back.

Ohhhhh god the two worst people in these forums just always show up. Drake and the orc monk. Actually the flies on crap. Never fails. Doesn’t matter what the topic is, even if they agree they find a reason to troll for no reason.
Doesn’t matter how long ago surv went melee. People picked hunter to play ranged. Never once did I ever meet a hunter who was like “yea I picked this class to attack with my sword not my bow” or “you know what would make this class better??? Getting rid of the bow and swapping it for a spear”.
As long as hunters ( the 3 specs we have) stay this way people will bring up ranged surv because is was amazing. You have options on how to fight something as well as it felt fun to play and smooth.
Now you have dumpster juice mm, even going into shadowlands mm will be dumpster juice with killshot. Surv is still melee. Which leaves you with BM.
So if hunters still don’t feel like hunter, hunters will fight to try and get something that feels like hunter should

Those that have different opinion than you doesn’t mean they are trolling.
Of course people picked hunter as a ranged character before, obviously ! There was no melee version of it. But NOW since Legion it does exist and that can be a reason. Not only that, but a good amount of players did/do like the melee hunter… no matter what you say, there is a crowd that likes it. If people liking a spec affects you, you might need to take a step back.
You hate the change we get it, no need to actually “troll rage reply” now.
Surv is good, getting some good small changes for SL, MM getting some more smooth changes as well and new fun addition and BM, well I cant say I’m not interested in that spec.
I’m sure all 3 hunter spec feel much like a hunter (again cant say for BM, I dont play it). MM the typical archer hunter, Surv the old school hunter.
