There are no West coast servers.
They are all mountain time which is not the West Coast
My ping on all the servers are 213ms so actually the supposedly AU server must not really be OCE either.
I don’t play horde for racials. I’ve always gravitated toward orcs, trolls and undead because I like them. Plus Shamans are the FOTM class across the board and you have to play Horde in classic for them,

Most people don’t care about racial balance, they just want to play what they want to play.
Just give it some time. You’ll be able to make a horde toon. This is good for the health of the server.
My dream scythe guild has lots of oce peeps in it. I play form Japan. We all feel likes it’s a fine home so far.
No no fuss horde creation there. I even have a junk alt who holds the blood elf’s name to came there guilt free.

FWIW, there is no importance of faction balance. It’s a myth that there is, and those who claim it to be the case (in my opinion) do not belong on PVP servers.
People seem to look at ironforge raidlog data and pretend as though that holds any meaningful data towards what a PVP encounter might look like at level 30 while leveling in STV for example.
If you are unable to cope with being camped by multiple people multiple levels above you for an indeterminate amount of time, then you do not belong on a PVP server.
If you understand what you’re signing up for and are OK with that, then you’ll probably much more prefer being on the lower end of a radically imbalanced server, because that’s when it’s actually quite fun, even though it can be overwhelming very easily.

Re-roll its not even the end of Week 1, both Dwarf and Gnome are insane powerful combine with Eng and Allies are a better team play faction any way because Pala is OPAF in WSG.

Worse if you look at anything in respect to “ERA” it has not been updated in 6 months, and the data they collect… TOP AND KEK is Data from a different 3rd party web page that’s already known to not always be the most accurate.

You and your friends are inconvenienced for tonight/a little longer, maybe. Population imbalance can cause a doom-spiral the server can’t recover from, so Blizzard is taking steps to prevent such a situation. My friend’s and I went through the same experience Thursday, just wait for more Alliance to join up.
That’s what “actual (world) PvP” always was. 60s ganking lowbies or 5v1 other 60s.
The idea of these “epic 40v40 world PvP battles” everyone seems to remember so fondly is some grand scale Mandela effect.
They’re going to have to bite the bullet and make racials a la carte. I want my war stomping cannibalizing gnome.
