Like really can I just get a refund if I can’t play Horde with my friends? How long are we going to have to wait to be able to make a character? I don’t have forever to sit here at my computer on a work day just to get in some WoW time. Even if I can’t be logged in, I would like to at least create my character. Especially if there’s only going to be 1 freakin PvP server…

Till they buff Alliance racials. Horde players obviously need every advantage they can get and won’t play without it, the repetitive forum posts prove this.

I actually pay money to play this game. So I’m not particularly happy when I try to make a character and get a message saying “population imbalance.”
I don’t care if there’s a population imbalance, let me make my character on one of these “layered servers.”

I’ve been ganged up by enough Alliance over the years to know that there is no such thing as a “faction imbalance.”
Top PvP and Raid guilds are all Alliance anyway. How does my level 1 Troll priest create an imbalance?

I’m not trying to be an ashbringer, I just want to play the game that I’m paying for.
If that was true then they wouldn’t be locking Horde currently.

Faction balance is fine. The reasoning is fine. The implamentation of how you create a character is a bit annoying. It would have taken some work, but it would have been nice if you could have fully created a character (name included) and joined a queue if the faction was locked. Rather than having to sit on the create screen checking.

What’s the point of a PVP server if the majority of people just go Horde and turn it into a PVE server?
But if it’s anything like SoD you can just back in and out of the character creator every few minutes and make your character anyways. There’s still a flood of new alliance toons coming in.

Oh my goodness, I made my character! Now I can play, but I don’t really want to play anymore at this time, but at least I created my character and reserved my name. That was kind of the core of my frustration.

Horde racials are better, just stop
PvE servers lean Alliance for Paladins and PvP servers lean Horde for Racials
Some of them are better yes. Dwarf spriest beats undead spriest unless the dwarf is terrible.
I just think it’s important that players be able to create their characters. I understand a queue to join, but if our warrior started yesterday, and I take 2 hours to join today. How long is it going to take for our third and fourth to join tonight?
There is no beneficial argument for disallowing players to play your MMO, especially when they paying a subscription. Asking our friends to renew monthly payments for a game that we “might get to play tonight” is a bigger challenge than “population imbalance.”

Horde will probably never open up tbh, it;s always more popular than Ally
Just saying not everyone who goes horde did it for the racials. With dual spec I get to play shadow open world and if I was doing it it for racials I would have went alliance. Yes, it’s probably why some go horde but some of us just prefer our cities, zones, races, etc.
