How likely am I to be banned for farming the silithid carapace?

Real question here:
They sell for good gold so I’m farming them and plan on doing so most of this week-end to stock up on gold for the rest of P6. Given how some sweatlords are buying them I reckon they must be swiping their cards so how likely am I to be banned if I trade my farm for potential dirty gold ?

You won’t be because you’re posting them normally and farming normally. Stay with normal pricing, or play the AH game. Don’t do suspicious things like posting one fragment for 1.5k gold. There’s ton of postings already so should be no trouble.

I usually sell straight by exchange in Silithus tough. I don’t use the AH.

You getting banned for sure then

I can hear the blizz cops from my window…

You’re more-likely to be banned via mass reporting from those you’re “stealing” (as they see it) from.

…this happened in Classic TBC, where a bunch of gold sellers were reporting players in ‘high value areas’ and getting them suspended just because those players were impacting the farming.
